Giroud did a great job removing dead wood from the maple and oak trees in our front yard. Without a doubt, I would hire them again. A few of my neighbors also use them, and in fact, because a few of us on my block were seeking their services around the same time, they took the trouble to find a day that worked for all of us and I got a bit of a discount because of it. Mike Chernail was my main contact there, and I found him to be friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. In our initial consultation, I had about a thousand questions and he answered every one, and sent me follow up emails to educate me further on their techniques and products. Pricewise, I found them to be very fair. The two trees they trimmed for us are quite large, and it was about $860 for the dead wood removal. That doesn't include shaping or trimming, which was fine for us. I had checked out two other companies; one would have charged about $1400 (and they certainly seemed knowledgeable and I'm sure worth it, but too much for us), and another would have charged about $450 (I didn't feel as confident in their ability or their representative), and I found Giroud to be just a fair price with service I felt the most comfortable with. I would definitely suggest choosing Giroud to anyone.
