When I took my slide there last year (2017), the ArcelorMittal Orbit was kind of quiet; of course, we booked the slide beforehand, but I was told that we could get tickets at the box office too.



The observation deck was also quiet, and there installed a distorting mirror that turned the city view upside-down. From there, you could also see the London Aquatic Centre built by the honourable architect Zaha Hadid.

The tower was a bit remote from popular landmarks in London, but visiting different neighbourhoods while taking the light rail outskirts was quite a good experience.
