The veterinarian herself was a kind and understanding person but the staff are heartless. My husband had our boy before we were married. He had gotten him after being deployed. He lived alone in Germany and his only companion was his pup. They wouldn t let us not even one of us go in to spend his last moments with our boy before they gave him so much meds that when they finally let us be by his side it was like he was already gone. I ve never seen my husband cry. I m enraged that our boy had to be wield in without his favorite person their to comfort him. We are thankful for being with him as they administered the fatal injection, but now all my husband can think about is the look on our boys face as they took him in without us. We are heartbroken. The staff needs a big dose of compassion.
