Had always looked forward to visiting. What I didn t know was that a large portion of the exhibits were closed for renovation, including the Japanese and Egyptian exhibits. Personally , I felt that the $20 ticket (California resident) was not worth it. Of course , I will be visiting next year when said renovations are completed, and hopefully by then LACMA will live up to my expectations.
