I just graduated from UCF, and I have to say the campus is really beautiful. The whole reason why I chose to go to this school in the first place was because of how nice the campus was. The people that attend the school, however, are less than to be desired. I look back without really having any emotionally ties from this school. it was a solid educational experience, and I learned a lot, and received the internships and experience I needed in order for me to be prepared for the real world, but I did not graduate with any true friends from this school. I tend to get a log with most people, and was really popular in high school, but when I came to UCF meeting people was extremely difficult. The size of the campus has some measure for this reasoning, but it's also the people who do not really want to take the initiative to meet other people. It's really surprising that within such a huge campus the majority of people do not want to branch out and talk to other students, and if you try starting a conversation with someone they look at you like you're the weird one.Overall, I was a transfer student who did not have anyone to go up with in the beginning, so this may had some effect as to why it was more difficult for me even when I tried to get involved, but it still was not successful. I still say it was a great educational experience, and no matter what you will learn a lot.
