i was so excited to join this gym because it's close to my house and the facilities and programs seemed excellent. After being a member for several months, I now have the overall impression of "This gym was built by people with immense financial backing, a nice vision of beautiful facilities, and absolutely no ability to manage a facility".

The facility IS beautiful. The pool itself is very well maintain and almost always clean. Lifeguards are often seen scrubbing the deck. The women's locker room, however, smells terrible. Why put a porous, spongy flooring down in a room where it is almost always wet? This building is only 2 years old, and I believe they have already had to replace the locker room floor, and refinish the locker doors. it seems like poor planning.

I also wish they had mentioned to me, when I came for a tour, that I should just forget that they have an indoor running track. Pretty much at all times, there are soccer leagues and clinics, and the track is impassable because ignorant parents lets their kids sit/play tag/lie down/play with toys all over the track. or parents set up chairs to watch games on the track. I asked at the front desk about the best time to run, and was basically told "never - there are always clinics or games" and the staff shrugs their shoulders and says "we tried" to tell parents to keep their kids of the track.

Also, almost all of the front desk staff is teenagers who carry on conversations with friends who are standing there, and you always feel like you're interrupting or waiting for them to stop chatting about boyfriends/school for them to help you check in or out. I have never been to another gym that makes you wear wrist bands, or requires an interaction with staff to check in or out. All others have a swipe or scan system, and you can do it yourself. No waiting.

The gym machines are very nice, and I have had no problem with the machines, or crowding.

Overall, the facility is very nice, and will be perfect for you as long as you don't mind waiting to check in/out, and don't plan to ever use the indoor track.
