WARNING TO ALL. WARNING TO ALL. WARNING TO ALL. WARNING TO ALL. Recently I had to go on disability. I payed every Doctor and Hospital bill I had. At least I thought. My local Hospital said I had a bill for over 5000 dollars. As I looked into it I found out it was for hernia surgery back in 2011. At the time I had B.C.B.S. at work. They had declined it saying it may have been work related. IT WAS NOT WORK RELATED. Come to find out the reason I never heard of it is because THEY sent my appeal to the wrong address. They admit they did not have the correct address. Sense it was over 18 month old they refuse to pay it. Now because they had the wrong address I am stuck with this bill. THEY WERE HEARTLESS IN THEIR DECISION. Even though they admit to having the wrong address. PLEASE if you have moved call your provider to make sure they have your correct address. I would hate to see this happen to anyone else. If you think B.C.B.S. CARES, you are wrong all they care about is getting your money.
