I have had Seven Corners' Reside Worldwide coverage since I first began traveling in 2005. I did a great deal of research before choosing this health insurance and found that the premium for extremely good coverage was much less than I had been paying for my private health insurance in the US.

While living in Panama, I had cataract surgery. I contacted Seven Corners for pre-approval; they approved the procedure in 45 MINUTES! They called me a week after the procedure because they had a check for the doctor but his office hadn't sent their bank info yet--that's how prompt
their payment was (it was during Carnaval--nobody in Panama works then).

I now live in Ecuador. The country's laws have changed and everyone--residents and tourists alike--must have health insurance. This would not have been a problem, except that my policy renews while I'm in Ecuador, so when I enter the country, I couldn't show coverage for the entire term of my visit.

I contacted Seven Corners and learned that I could renew my policy early and that would take care of the problem. Everyone I talked to was very helpful and sympathetic--how often do you get THAT in an insurance company?

Contacting Seven Corners always is a pleasure. They are personable, competent, and helpful. I recommend them highly.
