I had a 2pm appt and Wineinger Eyecare didn't open back up after lunch until 2pm. I had gotten there about 10 min early and just waited in my car and then I saw one of their employees unlock the doors and I got right in, didn't have to sit down and wait but was taken right in for eye test. The entire process was easy and they seemed like they really cared about taking care of my eyes. The rep helped me to choose glasses without being pushy and I got them ordered. Good customer service with a smile!

It s sad when a great doctor doesn t have a a staff to match. I ve been going to Dr. Wineinger for over 25 years. When I tried to explain that the replacement lens for my glasses wasn t the same I was treated like I didn t know what I was talking about. All they could tell me was that it was the same as last time. They did nothing to try and correct the problem. When they went back to the back room and start to discuss their personal lives I walked out. It was clear that they weren t going to do anything to correct the problem.

Dr. Ryan is so thorough, and does a fabulous job explaining everything. I hardly ever wait to see him, but at the same time never ever feel like he rushed through the exam. The office uses the latest technology, especially with the high resolution imaging of your retina...I feel secure knowing he's monitoring things before they start or early on, and can do more preventative care. He is fantastic with kids and used pictures when my kids were 3 and went for their first check. Fabulous Doctor. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Love this office.

Heard positive things about this place so decided to give it a try. They did this squiggly line test that said it would help with some focal point but I don t even think it really effected my glasses. They have a good selection of glasses but they re extremely expensive. The amount my insurance covered barely put a dent in the frame cost itself. Definitely wasn t expecting to pay what I paid. I did call to ask for an itemized receipt to compare with my EOB but never got it. It s been about a month now. Had to get my glasses tightened and they did, but after saying it still rubs against my eyelashes, all they said was it was my frames because they re plastic. Went to a different optical store to have them tilt the glasses a bit and they did. Now I have less eyelash rubbing against the lens. Not sure why they didn t offer me this solution...

Took forever and I still left confused. He didn't explain anything. Spent a lot of money and he couldnt even figure out what prescription I needed. I left with four different strengths of contacts and no idea which one to use. (He also had terrible breath)

The receptionist was very nice though

While I was very impressed with Dr Wineinger, the staff ordering glasses leave much to be desired, and after purchasing 3 pairs of glasses from them, when I ordered my fourth pair, they were unwearable as incorrect measurements were taken, then I found that they literally dug into my nose, causing much pain in only minutes, they were absolutely not exchangeable. I paid out of pocket hundreds of dollars, got NO credit back toward a different style, which I would also have to purchase out of pocket. I WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS BUSINESS.

One's vision is too important to trust our eyes to anyone but the best. That's why I highly recommend Wineinger Vision Associates. Under the care of Dr. Ryan Wineinger and his staff, my eyes are in the best of hands. They are extremely knowledgeable and take the greatest of care to check not only my vision for prescription lens but also every precaution to check the health of my eyes.

in my experience, Dr. Wineinger is the ultimate of professionals. If you've ever had your eye sight "examined" in one of those eye-care chains in the mall, you'll immediately notice the difference. At Wineinger Eyecare, you'll begin with one of his assistants examining your eyes on two or three different machines.

Then you move along into Dr. Wineinger's examination room. He puts your eyes through the most careful of inspections, usually taking 30 to 45 minutes to test every aspect of my vision. He's obviously deeply focused during the entire process - there's no distracting chit-chat about where you went for your last vacation. His professional and personal care for your eyesight is evident when you see how intent he is in every part of the exam.

His entire focus is always on the condition of your eyes. Over the last 30+ years of checkups, Dr. Wineinger has never to attempted to sell us anything that's unnecessary. In fact, on several occasions, he's remarked that there's been a minor change in my prescription but that my current glasses are perfectly adequate. Highly recommended.

I felt very rushed in my appointment. I marked on my paperwork I wanted to talk about eye surgery, never spoke about it during the appointment. Doc Never made any attempt to get to know me or build a patient/Doctor relationship. Receptionists were slightly rude and you could hear them negatively talking about other clients after a phone call was over. I see that many people rate this office as top notch, so I will give it another try on my follow up.
