I have been 5 times now and every time I can't imagine that it could be better then the last time, but it was. This time I brought my 3 teenage children (14-20). It was a blast. The staff is amazing. They are all so kind and social. We had Brendon Shaw as our rafting guide. He was so patient, soft spoken and informative. He made our rafting trip amazing. Our rafting Leader was Chris L. He was AMAZING!!! He was funny, very informative and made my son who was neverous at first, very at ease with calm and social (kind) approach, from beinging until the end. The staff makes a point to get to know you and are very open to suggestions. I highly recommend this place for a great family getaway.

The meals were great (wish had had more vegetable choices for younger kids such as more common plain vegetables: carrots. cucumbers, plain salades etc.)

The resort activities were amazing especially the was inflatables that we spent several hours enjoying over our 3 day stay.

THANK YOU AGAIN to some amazing staff we had the pleasure of getting to know and learn from
Chris L. (rafting leader) Brendan Shaw (rafting guide), Liam (Bartender and rafting guide), Rick (sercurity), Blake (rafting guide) and Joel (president/rafting leader).

Had a great time! Roberto was a fun rafting guide, make sure you follow his instructions .
We are a group of 6 and want to appreciate how they were sensitive to our special needs of eating halal. They made sure it was done on a separate grill. Thanks guys, means a lot to us!

The overall facilities such as the free kayaks and paddle boards and dont miss the slide that takes u in the water.
U can get free life jackets too.

Overall its positive energy and a nice place.

Very well organized tour, great emphasis on safety. They are also innovating and moving forward, love the fact that you can pre-load your bracelet band with a pre-set value so that you can use it for drinks-food etc. Love that they take the time to organize so many events over the weekend.

TL;DR: 2 hours is not a "full day of rafting"

Friday, June 7th was our "Classic High Adventure Day Trip" that I booked in early May. According to the website, this is a "Full day of rafting. 10:30am-5pm" and includes a BBQ lunch and each trip "is about four to six hours in length".

My daughter's birthday gift of a "full day" of whitewater rafting only lasted 2 hours with not so much as an apology or explanation, so we feel like we have been ripped off. Even their less expensive afternoon trip is supposed to be "4-5 hours in length".

I've taken the time to detail our experience to Wilderness Tours directly via email first, hoping they would make this right, but they did not reply. I will not be a returning customer and am warning others about this clear case of false advertising.

My group went for a two day excursion, with the second day being a guide your own trip. We had an amazing time! The staff/guides were awesome, they were so friendly and really knew what they were doing. We had Keji K as our day one guide and he was so nice, he definitely made the day very fun, very awesome guide! Our second day we had Connor, Denis, Mike and a female kayaker that kept us safe on the guide your own trip. They were very experienced, had great sense of humours and kept us safe! The food we were provided with was also good, along with the live entertainment. Awesome trip overall.

Wow! I can't even begin to express the AMAZING time we had out WW rafting! Our guide, Matt was fantastic. Organization and overall experience was outstanding, especially amidst all of the extra Covid precautions. Thank you so much for a GREAT afternoon of fun! We're hooked!

Camped here for two nights, unfortunately through a storm. Camp site wasn't very busy so lots of choice where to put the tent up, clean bathrooms and showers are good. Food very good and not massively over priced. Not been rafting yet so will have to update review after that!

Had a wonderful time on the High Adventure tour. The guides were helpful and the river was fun without feeling dangerous. The resort was also a great experience with tons to do and good food, with an all-you-can-eat salad bar. I would recommend them for anyone looking for a fun adventure.

Went on the full day rafting and it was so much fun! The package came with guided group whitewater raft tour and lunch (from 10am-5pm). The staff are absolutely wonderful and knowledgable. I felt safe and had a blast. Would love to go again with a large group. The lunch was delicious and catered to veggies and vegans. The weather was amazing and such a nice bonus to an awesome day.

Our guide was amazing and very friendly. He was very informative and engaging with conversations. However, peanut free snacks were not provided during the tour. There was no chance to mention food allergies before rafting. Also, due to covid 19, they had to put people in smaller groups in the rafts. This led to less weight in the rafts and a higher chance of tipping over. This should have been told to participants in advance. I do not recommend this trip for people who are not strong swimmers just in case you tip over. The scenery was gorgeous and the water temperature was comfortable. The food was delicious.

Guide service was great. The area of the Ottawa River they take you down is pretty tame for the most part. You'll hit 5 or 6 sets of rapids and paddle back in to a few of them. Even when you flip the raft you are pushed in to calm water. I expected a few more sets of rapids for a 5 hour "high intensity" trip. Lunch and post trip beer was pretty descent. The 3 star rating is based on the price tag and I rented a go pro that wasn't working properly, I was given free pictures as compensation but I was disappointed we didn't capture more video. The go pro was low battery in the morning so I would not recommend renting one.

We opted for camping in our own tents rather than cottages. Camping ground is well maintained and huge. Food is simply awesome. If you eat meat, you wont go hungry. If you are vegan, you got options from fruits to pizzas to veggie burgers. Staff isnsuper cool and friendly. Its a must go recommendation from my side.

The rafting was amazing for my first time. Our raft guide Connor was very helpful and gave my family and I helpful tips. The food here is amazing and very tasty. The only thing I would recomend is that you bring your own water as you cant drink the water at your campground or lodge.

Located about hour and fifteen minutes from downtown Ottawa. Easy to get to.
Better signage providing direction to their guests is recommended. Overall, we had a great time.
We had our white water rafting booked and paid for online. We drove down to their facility, and were greeted by a employee and received wristbands which were used as identification. We had to drive down to the camp site (directions to camp were not clear, and had to ask a camper for directions).

The camp is a huge area that consists of a restaurant, change rooms, cabins, a camping area, lots of parking space, and beachfront access. We gathered In a area for an orientation which consisted of emergency protocols while in the water, etc. We received our equipment; helmet, oars, life jacket. Then we were taken by a bus to the rafting start (roughly 10 minute ride). Upon arrival we got in our rafts received briefing and met our guide for the day.

We enjoyed our rafting experience, we had to skip a few rapids, that took away from the experience. We were provided with a option of Water, or juice and a small granola bar. This was not sufficient as everyone was hungry at this point. Majority of the river was calm, which allowed us to take a dip in the cool water.

It was a fun trip, the kids loved it, and we got to enjoy the outdoors. Having been indoors for so many months, anything seems fun. Definitely give it a try.
I could not take pictures of us rafting, had to leave behind my phone, sadly.

Had a great time rafting. A good meal at the start of the day, followed by a half day of rafting and a beer waiting for us at the end. Our guide was amazing, which was common as all the people that work there really enjoy what they do and it shows. The food and drinks back at the property were good, and they had live music.

The overall experience was amazing. Tour guides while rafting were extremely knowledgeable and kept safety number one all the while keeping the experience exciting. The food was good. The only complaint I have is with having coffee only available at breakfast.....with the extremely low price of coffee it is something that should be available all day long...you do pay enough to accommodate that.

Went out at the begging of July and the weather and water were amazing! Our guide was amazing. The lunch was burgers and sausage. The food was very good after a morning on the water. There is a veggie burger option as well. The day was absolutely amazing i recommend these guys to anybody looking into going!

OVERALL, really great staff, great food, and nice environment. Went there in the summer for my birthday; I'm a celiac, and their gluten free chicken fingers were really good! They were so good that we got some to go on our last day, and lucky for us, one of their newer servers really ruined the experience.

The woman serving us was really nice, but the younger girl working walked right up to us as we were paying, started rearranging the silverware, and then very blatantly began the longest stare at my boyfriend I'd ever seen. I know, this seems like a silly complaint, except this wasn't a brief checking him out cause he's cute (which I am well aware happens.) I can ignore it when a girl checks him out, or smiles. I mean, that's life. But this was enough of a bother that I'll never go back there. It was actually really disrespectful, because she stood there for some time before walking back and forth slowly, continuously staring at him. That kind of blatant disrespect and treatment of customers is REALLY not okay, and I know as someone who served for years. It was very uncomfortable for both me and my boyfriend, and neither of us wanted to say anything or make a scene. The worst part for me was that I watched this girl for about five minutes, until she stopped walking, stared at me for several seconds and then walked away. Really disappointed. I don't like doing negative reviews, but I still get pissed anytime I think about it, and I just can't imagine what kind of server would have the gall to do something like that.

I am coming here the third year with my friends for rafting day. They needed to relocate due to COVID and now based at the River run location. The new spot is not that much developed in infrastructure as the previous but you can find a lot of stuff to do: free kayaks to use, volleyball nets etc. The staff is always friendly and happy to help. Their new home is on the shore of the beautiful bay with a few trails around. I find food options to be more diverse than before and their guides are very professional and funny! Till next year

We did an employee weekend at Wilderness Tours. It was the most fantastic experience (not to mention team building) for everyone who participated. The staff was always encouraging and super helpful to those who had never been rafting. The food and facilities were also very impressive. We are already booked for another weekend this summer!

Super fun day! We did the classic rafting day trip; it's a full day of rafting, cliff jumping, and swimming, with lunch. Our guide was really enthusiastic and made sure we all knew what to do in case someone falls off the boat. Our trip day was a bit chilly, but still very enjoyable.

The front desk and gift shop staff were rather unhelpful. We went to the check in desknand were told to fill out the waiver on the computer but we were not told that we would have to come back to the desk to get our bracelets to be able to go on our tour. Once we got everything figured out the your was awesome! The guides were great, very informative and the while day was a lot of fun!

We went down to wilderness tours for a two day rafting weekend. We had Andrea as our guide for the first day in the 12 man raft and it was awesome!!! We finished off the night with a crazy paint party, and then did the Guide Your Own Raft the next day. It was so much fun and I highly recommend this trip!!
