Dr Nwoko performed a WRONG site surgery on me 6/12/2018. It s been admitted too. I would of rated this practice a zero if I could but you have to give at least 1 star in order to comment. It s been almost 3 years but I feel the public needs to know this. The way I was treated by this practice & the way that I continue to be treated is mentally damaging!!! I m not going to go into details here vs. I do plan on contacting local tv stations, local newspapers, & local radio stations in hopes that they will cover my story.
After this happened I tried contacting the Dr in charge, Dr Deol, and I was told he was too busy to speak to me.

My experience thus far has been nothing short of extraordinary! I had an ORIF preformed and I m in the process of healing. The surgery went off without any complications! The surgical team and staff were all amazing and that s not just the anesthesia talking either!!! I m thankful to have had such wonderful care in my moment need! Thanks to Dr. Thompson and the entire staff that was involved in my care!

I know understand why this place has such bad reviews. I have called the office 9 times in the past 3 days. I have emailed the PA. Not one person has answered the phone or called me back. I left two messages. I had a simple question about what restrictions my child should have with his broken arm and the PA couldn't email or call me back? Also, don't try to get in if your doctor is away because you can't. You can't see anyone else in the office, maybe the PA if you can get them to call you back!!!! Terrible place to deal with.

4 year old with a broken tibia in a full leg cast... the appointment took 2hrs and my daughter is great with doctor appointnents! We had to ask a ton of questions to get some advice, meaning there wasn't any proactive recommendations for how to do life for the next couple of weeks. It is a day after her appointment and we would like to order a wheelchair for her to go to school and I have spent most of the day calling and leaving voicemails with two of the doctor's PAs, the triage nurse, the appointment call center and still no response. Feel like we have been left hanging and have no one to contact. Would not recommend going to this place and if you are referred, try to get a second option.

Overall, great service! I had a great experience during my last visit. Shane was extremely experienced and helpful. Painless stitches removal! And beautiful cast job. My surgeon/doctor, Dr. Thompson, is excellent as well. Very thorough, detailed explanation of the overall process and for the finer details as well. I really felt comfortable with him reconstructing my foot and with regard to listening to my concerns.

I called the New Bern Avenue office and made an appointment as I was trying find an in-network provider since my current orthopedist is out-of-network. The earliest I could be seen was 3 weeks for foot pain. I went to the appointment, Dr. Thomas s name was on the board for being present as his patients would have a <15 minute wait. I got the the check in desk, only to be told my appointment was in Garner by a front reception whose presentation was not very warm. I explained that I called that office to make the appointment there. I asked if anyone else could see me. She said, no because there was not a foot doctor present. I looked at the board, since Dr. Thomas s name was there and she told me he was only there in the morning. I offered to go to Garner but wanted to ensure they would see me as it was later in the day. She called and they said I would have to reschedule. She asked if I wanted to reschedule. I asked when was the next appointment. The earliest I could be seen was 3.more weeks. I declined. I will go back to my out of network provider. They got me in with 2 days.

At first, I was somewhat reluctant to choose Wake Orthopedics. I had just recently moved to the area and injured my arm very badly. However, this all changed when I met Dr. Luther. Not only did he treat me professionally but also compassionately. He prioritized my ailments and showed genuine empathy. He is among one of the only doctors that I can respectively say cares. I would highly recommend going to this doctor for your orthopedic care.
