Vision West Notts

From my experience on the acting course the course itself is amazing especially Simon who is the head of performing arts he always encourages his students and pushes them for more!! I had a tough couple of years personally when I was doing performing arts and I could not have asked for a better tutor then Simon!
Another positive from my experience is the collage safeguarding system as it is extremely effective and fast in the way it works.

From my experience on health and social the teachers cant teach bar the one who teaches psychology, with the exception of psychology its ushually laptop or book work with little to no gidence except a very rudimentary worksheet.
The over all staff professionalism is lackluster to say the least.

Over all if your going to do performing arts I strongly recommend this collage.

The best school I've ever been to. The best teachers l ever had -Fiona Hunter-Spokes, Ajit Singh and so on. Back in the 90s it used to be called West Nottinghamshire College on Chesterfield Road in Mansfield. Beautiful place.

I loved my time at West Notts great memories don't like the new building design though

Got a great selection of courses but from my experience the staff don't really care about the work and would rather hunt you down for not being able to see your lanyard

After applying to study Access to HE: Law as a late entry student, they decided they would not take me on, as they don't want to "set me up to fail".
Since then however, I managed to join Nottingham College as a late entry applicant to study the same subject, and have since then Achieve mostly distinctions - only 3 credits so far at a merit - and have not failed a single unit.
I am therefore glad I was not taken on by West Notts, as I'm sure I avoided a train wreck - especially with their recent financial issues where they were going into administration and had their Principal resign after she had claimed unreasonable expenses and an abysmally large salary.

Great college would highly recommend, slowly expanding and bettering itself also! Great friendly staff

Meeting new people is good and seeing old friends. But the staff aren't that nice and think they're cut above others. The courses and days aren't even right in my opinion. Well found out they're short staff show that WestNotts is not that good or having problems. Also I feel so low since being there only been there for 2 months nearly. Think before coming to WestNotts wonder why students are leaving.

A great place to learn with all the support you could want

No doubt, the worst education / training provider in the area.
I could not recommend Vision West Notts to anyone.

Originally, I joined a Level 3 extended course in IT - quit halfway through, due to the absolute mess in curriculum and teachers constantly changing. I believe that at least 50% of the class left by month 6.

I have however attempted to get an apprenticeship with them. 2 months passed, and I only received one interview for Business Admin Level 2 position, which I had absolutely no feedback on, despite numerous requests.

I was 16 at the time and have had to seriously re-evaluate my career and education prospects. If it was not for my own, swift incentive to drop out, and do my best to find an apprenticeship, I would not be where I am today.

Thankfully however, another academy based all the way in NOTTINGHAM found me so many interviews in Mansfield, that I struggled to get through all of them! They notably arranged me an interview for Digital Marketing Level 3 in a company at which i'm now a manager.

Upon completion of the apprenticeship, I decided to once again try VWNC, for an Accounting course. Alas, again I found the college is still a mess.

I have now switched to another training provider in Derby, and although it is a bit of a commute, I prefer it as the tutors have strong credentials behind them, and it is a fantastic place to be in general.

I rarely give bad reviews, but frankly this college is a waste of time.

I love coming here because I enjoy all the things I do here and seeing my friends here. I'm glad I came here because there's lots of good things to do and the thing people can do here was pretty much there choise.

I went to this college and it was really really bad and was very traumatic and depressing I think now my mental state makes me want to suicide because I don't like it that much it was like really really bad and wudnt let my childs go to this collage because I thinhk that it was bad because you fail becos your die and stuff all I want to do is play dark souls while sippin on a pesi for ever I just giv up on l4fe

A fantastic college, disappointed to see the partnership with Nottingham Trent University which is a very poor University. Real shame!

you can travel unflattering from the couch. I really wanted to see where the granddaughter is taking into account. I can t go to the UK. They sent an address and I went to watch lying on the couch.

five starts means five stars if there was more I would mark more did aat level 2 course 2013 - 2014 I cannot rate the tutors or college high enough anybody reading this please apply the courses are long you are treated like a person and not a number

Doing level 3 hair at wnc. The staff are rude, they have no idea what they are doing.. change the timetable all the time so people get confused of which classes to attend and when you don t attend a class because your confused it s your own fault and they act like they have never changed it before. Teaching is horrendous.. absolute joke of a college

great collage we played roblox rather than doing work
