Great hotel for family vacations. Large and spacious rooms.
Food at a high level, keeping in mind the Covid.
Very attentive and friendly staff, always ready to help and with a smile.
Unforgettable holidays for my children and for us.
Thanks to the Tagoro staff for their dedication in these difficult times.

Good for the price. Its a family resort so don't expect to be partying it up while you're there. But its good for chilling during the day and getting fed. Decent sized pool and plenty deck chairs. Only a ten or fifteen minute walk from the water front. Plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby. Drinks served all day next to the pool and an inside bar opens later at night. You can get drinks and food on your all inclusive band until 11 at night. So if (like me) that seems too early for you then you will find yourself heading out to the strip down the front etc. All in all its a good hotel. Staff are very helpful. We have never had any problems here. Would recommend :)

Very cozy hotel, the Merlin room is very good for children, good cleaning.
Attention from excellent workers.
Good cuisine, I have been in 4 stars much weaker.
Regarding the "Covid Norms", quite a lot of responsibility, in children's games, constantly cleaning hands with hydroalcoholic gel and maintaining distances. In relation to its category, a great family hotel.

The hotel facilities are not bad, the entertainment and staff very well, however it is noted that they do not invest in quality food and drinks. It would not matter if it was not an all-inclusive, since you make the meals out and that's it. When we went there were many foreigners and they took all the hammocks in the pool from 8 in the morning. To be all day eating and drinking regardless of quality is ideal, for those who seek something else, it is not recommended.

I think it is a very good hotel if you are able to adapt to British uses and schedules. It is designed for that audience, from lunch, dinner and their schedules (but if it is true, it is very well cooked). The activities for the children, the well-known minidisco at 8:30 a.m. to 21 p.m., which my children have not been able to go since we can not have dinner at 7:30 p.m., is English time. And the animators quite sossos. They have a playroom, but it is in daycare mode, they do not do activities inside with the children, the children do what they want, almost always watch television.
Impossible to take hammock or room in the pool if you go after 8:15. All booked by people who do not appear.
Anyway, I think there are better options for people who are not English. If they want a national audience they must change enough things

We stayed for ten days in July and the hotel met all our expectations again; We had a small problem with the room but it was fixed immediately. In general, good facilities, spacious rooms, although if the buffet is a bit repetitive, especially at lunchtime there is less variety ....
Highlight especially the human team, very efficient and friendly, especially with children.
Recommended and we will repeat

Staff are super friendly, and they love kids. Whilst decor is dated and some aspects of the rooms could do with an update, it did add to the charm of the resort. Lovely experience for my first all-inclusive holiday; have seen documentaries on similar ones in Greece and Spain, but this one was definitely less busier than the ones on TV, so you don't feel as claustrophobic when grabbing your food/drinks

NO LIFT. So if you have a buggy or a wheel chair, forget it. Stairs from reception to pool, stairs into the rooms. Scruffy balcony, view of car park and back of shopping centre, jacuzzi you wouldnt wash your dog in, tiny restaurant with cleaners stood in groups chatting, average food, not enough staff at bar, no decent wine even if you pay extra, tired pool area, tiny stage immediately adjacent to pool so very little space around it, full of smokers, tired kids area a long walk from main pool, old sofa in it, no bar at kids pool. One positive, front desk ladies. Manager completely ignored complaint.ive spent 17000 euro with dreamplace hotels since March 16. That will be my last euro. This hotel is completely misrepresented by the photos.

There are not enough hammocks around the large pool, and people reserve them. Regular food, lunch is very poor. The general cleaning fine, but they do not clean the rooms at a reasonable hour (the days we were not cleaned before 2pm, and the day we arrived the room was not ready at 3pm). The room we stayed in was fine, with a terrace and jacuzzi, all in good condition.

More than adequate hotel to stay a few days in family. Spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent cleaning.
Personally the best thing for us was the staff, starting with reception, cooks, waiters .... and cleaning staff, very friendly and always with a smile and that is appreciated.
If we return, we will not hesitate to repeat.

Lovely hotel, all the facilities you'd expect for a family activity hotel such as pools, park, tennis court, basketball court etc, and the food and drink is constant and of high quality. But what makes this hotel stand out is the staff. The entertainment team are the best we have experienced putting on a nightly show for the kids along with a varied timetable of nightly activities for both adults and families. They work all day in the kids club and varied activities throughout the day. They really get involved and show they truly care about my little girls holiday. The reception is proactive with any issues or day to day help, the bar staff are friendly and helpful, the cos are talented and friendly, the cleaners do a daily good job... You get the idea. All staff are brilliant. They are the reason we will be returning in October. See you again everybody.

Very comfortable and quiet place. All very familiar to enjoy a quiet holiday in Tenerife. The staff very attentive and very friendly. You have recreational areas for children as well as shows and highly qualified staff that entertain the creatures. Every night they have shows for both children and adults. The hotel has an all-inclusive regimen with delicious meals, both in the morning, midday and afternoon. With very professional chefs and spectacular service (waiters). The hotel is close to the beaches which are 10 minutes walk away, besides being next to a shopping center with cinemas, bars and shops. Finally talk about the address that we treated great and we felt at home.

Incredible hotel.
The staff is very very nice and attentive at all times.
The facilities are very clean and adapted for all people and children.
Very very good food, great variety of dishes and quality of food. The swimming pools are clean and the lifeguards always pending disinfection of all the beds and floors.
I recommend the hotel 100% ,,, and we already have another reservation, we will return.

A good hotel with very correct and friendly service. Very good, clean pool (not too deep), the children's pool very well, with several fun games for the little ones.
In relation to the food buffet, great variety and good quality, although anticovid measures are not respected in that area. You serve yourself at the buffet, so many people touch the same utensils. For many jars of gel that are around, it seems to us an insufficient measure for the seriousness of the health crisis that we have.
Only in the salad section is there someone to serve and in the live cooking area. And that's the way it should be throughout the buffet.

If it is not due to this situation of the covid, it is a hotel to repeat.

Brilliant family resort! Would like to be a little closer to town, as hill walk back is quite steep, but c'est la vie, can't have it all! Really excellent value for money. I am vegetarian, and have annoyingly got used to living on chips, omelette, pizza and salad when abroad; but this hotel has wonderful variety. Would recommend.

Good value for money. All-inclusive drinks are by jug. Food, little variety and repetitive.
If they took care of some details, very cheap to solve, I would give it more stars.
They charge you 20 deposit for some dusty towels.
Very friendly staff, especially Yurena at the reception.

Lovely clean apartments, lots of space. Only downside was no parasol / shade on terrace and extremely hot in afternoon / evening. Travelled with my son and family and you couldn't lock the door, as 2 year old kept running out. Would be better too if the kids splashpool had gates to stop little ones getting away. Food very good, lots of choice. Outside kept well, cleaned every day

Part 1
The facility could be really great and make for a wonderful vacation if:
- Housekeeping would take its job seriously
- the interior designer would have invested a little more love
- the craftsmen would have tried harder
- Instead of inflexible house rules, work is solution-oriented ...
- the management would communicate with their guests.

We had booked a superior double room for 2 adults / 2 children. It was said that the apartment is suitable for 4 people because there is a sofa bed in the living room.
The sofa bed turned out to be 2 single beds, which can not stand next to each other, so that we had a choice. Parents into the bedroom. Then every time you walk from the terrace to the bar or toilet through the living room where the children sleep.
Or a vacation with separate beds for the parents.
The looks of the reception: priceless. They actually never got the idea that you don't want to go to bed at the same time as the kids - or run through the room where the kids are sleeping.
When asked about the price of an upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment, the answer came: we only have 3 of them - they are fully booked until October. A little hint. If the rooms go away like sliced bread, you need more of it!

So continue in the booked extra-large double room.
Unpack things. A clothes rail and 3 drawers - that's the wardrobe in a 4 person room. For everyone who likes to live out of suitcases, ideal. For a 4 * vacation an imposition!

The terrace - fantastic views of the mountains and the sea. And decadently large. And empty. Perhaps that makes it all the bigger ... 2 chairs, a table, 2 sun loungers. Um ... But we're 4th?
The space would have been enough for 4 loungers, 4 chairs. And you could still have played a small field football game on the terrace.
We missed a parasol. Shade on the terrace? Nothing!
But good. The uninspired white plastic furniture is not very inviting anyway. So you pay for a mega terrace that is never used.
This is apparently also stored in housekeeping. Because the bird shit literally ran down from the wall ... You don't have to take it away ... Or does it?

In general - either the cleaning staff only have 15 minutes per room or they simply don't feel like working. This time I did the finger wipe test not in a hard-to-reach place, but on the headboard of my bed. Good Appetite!

The freshly mopped floor crunched under your shoes, as the dirt was only smeared widely, but not removed. The invention of the vacuum cleaner has not yet caught on here ...

Our unit's bathroom door was puffy at the corners and moldy. The closet fell apart.
That the housekeeper would even accept such a room and not directly request a craftsman ...

Whereby - craftsmen. That's a thing. Paint stains on the tiles and in the joints. Every bathroom is tiled by DIY enthusiasts and worked cleaner ...

Regarding the inflexible house rules: the beach / pool towels are only changed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Great if you leave the facility at 10 am and only come back at 7 pm.
Even better if the student assistant is already sitting by the pool with the towel box and tells you he may only give it out in an hour. Explanation at the reception: otherwise the guests change the towels 5 times a day. Well - you could just use the electronic room card to 'book in' the towel exchange and allow everyone to change exactly one per day. But that would be too modern.

Pool opening times 10 am-6pm.
It's okay that you want to pay the obligatory pool guard as little as possible. But when 20-30 children are still jumping around in the children's pool at 6 p.m., there is no cloud to be seen and the sun is burning, you could let the fountain splash on for the little ones.
Folks, we are on vacation, timetables are the last thing we want ...

It continues in part 2 ...
