Villa d Este is an absolute high class hotel. Satisfying all one can ask for.

If you like Italian palazzos Villa d Este is an absolute stunner. Perfectly located with a breath-taking pool overseeing Lago di Como and the surrounding mountains. The Parks are lovely and you can enjoy the historic surrounding with all modern pleasures (WLAN).

The high price is justified with the excellent rooms, service and quality. Highly recommended.

Beautiful but ... so much so you can neither enter nor see up close if not from the tour of the lake in the distance.

Among the most beautiful hotels in the world. Enchanting gardens, luxurious and warm interiors, princely dining rooms, cozy and elegant atmosphere. Excellent cuisine and consequent account.

Should have 10 stars! Absolutely excellent from service to the staff friendliness to food and views of the lake and architecture of the building. If your looking for an experience you've found it here without a doubt. Need to go into the pool floating on the lake.

Such a fantastic place to stay on lake Como. The staff have been incredibly helpful, the food has been great and the room is large with great Italian charm.

The place is magical, the setting is flawless. On the other hand it has a price! Wine and dishes extremely expensive. Nothing exceptional in the plate to justify these tarrifs.

Excellent views, amazing hiking trail, great service, good tasting food however overpriced for what it was. Very old school, yet country club classy. Water alone was 8 euro, beers were a 18.

When you want a magnificent view of Lake Como, as well as excellent food, look no further. This is an elegant dining experience with tables by the lake. Service is excellent. The cost is high, but worth it for a place that is only open 8 months of the year. A memorable dining experience.

Came for dinner and drinks. Had Campari and bitter lemon out on the lakeside veranda. Just beautiful. Dinner was old school table service and glamour; White linens, silver trays, and attentive service are the name of the game, here.

Words don't do justice to the beauty surrounding this place. Nature has done most, and the rest has been finished with exquisite details of mosaics, arbor walks, gorgeously designed gardens and verandas. Every corner has been meticulously cared for in all aspects. Expect only the best.

Fresh flowers, high-quality furnishings and perfectly trained staff as well as very good food make the old hotel-culture-atmosphere during the stay come alive for an unforgettable time.

Unique, wonderful, magical, magical location. Every detail is cared for down to the last detail, you can breathe an elegance of the past. I drank an excellent Franciacorta listening to pianobar. I would never leave.
