Had the pleasure of eating there with some friends after the All under one banner march for Independence. Food was beautifully presented wholesome and fresh and best of all you have a choice of leaving extra cash to feed the homeless. An absolutely fantastic idea

A great little cafe with a good heart, offering a 'Pay it Forward' scheme to provide free meals to homeless people We arrived very late for breakfast when most of the options had been scoffed, but met an incredibly helpful response and a delicious improvised breakfast was concocted for us. Fast an...

A nice wee place that is also a social enterprise and equal-opportunity employer. Handy for the High Court, and service is reasonably quick. Portions were slightly small but prices were reasonable. Soup and New York deli sandwich were good. Coffee could be better.

So this establishment is I think managed by people whom have been disadvantaged by their society and their environment. I think that's fair to say. So I was out doing some (amazing) photography work early morning as the weather in glasgow scotland was what's known as taps aff weather (basically it's...

Had a wee spot of lunch in here today, good sandwiches and soup. Very fairly priced, and the service was great, they also went out of their way to ensure there were no issues with our specific dietary requirements.
Great ethos with respect to social enterprise and paying it forward.

This is a great place and well worth a visit if you're in the Merchant city area. The food is great and good value for money. The staff are very friendly and attentive. It's a fair trade and community run cafe with a real ethical stance. 5 out of 5- I'd give it 6 if I could

Upon arriving after an overnight coach trip I was greeted with a very warm welcome. The chap serving me was an excellent host and the food and coffee were delicious. Upon leaving we spoke about myself and my travels as the chap seemed very interested. Couldn't of asked for a better experience just a...

Nice place to go for a coffee and the New York sandwich was great. You don't feel rushed which is a good thing. Only bad point was the lentil soup which seemed watered down. There was a large group of us so we think they may have not have had enough soup and added water to make it spread but in doin...

This place has a great concept with their pay it forward approach. Your donations/gratuities go towards customers who are less able to pay for their own meals. The food is very cheap, tastes good, but is very "no frills" - no fluff, no big sides, just small portions of whatever you order.

A fantastic not for profit community enterprise and cosy but classy cafe. Food was was of a high standard and all home cooked. I would have paid much more than was charged for the quality of the food. There is an option to pay in front which means you can leave a donation to pay for someone else to ...

Had a proper Scottish breakfast for the first time and was very impressed. For how much it cost versus the portion, it is a great value. I didn't feel hungry until 4pm after I had the breakfast at 8am so the portion is really large. The black pudding looked rather strange but it actually tasted good...
