I replaced the weak repeater in my garage with the EZ-Bridge-Dual wireless access point system from Tycon Systems Inc. The garage is just 25 feet from the house, and after comparing mesh and other extender options, this seemed like the best choice. The equipment worked straight out of the box, and the setup was incredibly straightforward thanks to their excellent documentation. I followed the instructions to verify the connection from the house, then mounted the antennas and configured the new garage router with a static IP using the additional guides available on the Tycon website. Big thanks to the team at Tycon for the clear instructions. My garage now has a wireless network that performs just as well as the one in the house.

Tycon Systems Inc came through with exactly what I needed for my network setup. I required a power solution to feed a switch that was running PoE out to a Ubiquiti UniFi LR disc, while also handling 24vdc PoE. We ran the first segment about 50 feet and the second about 70 feet, with an additional 12-foot run. The performance was solid across the board with no noticeable voltage drop, maintaining around 25 volts at the endpoint. Highly reliable solution.

We’ve been using Tycon Systems Inc for our network infrastructure needs, specifically to power Meraki MR26 Access Points. The splitter performs exactly as expected, and we haven’t encountered any issues. It handles the 12V @ 1.5A requirement perfectly, matching the 15.4W draw specified for the AP. Great quality from this heating, ventilating, and air conditioning contractor.

After testing multiple options from Tycon Systems, I can confidently say their gear is solid. The build quality is excellent, they work reliably, and the installation process is straightforward. I’m currently using their unit to provide power to a 12V device that doesn't support PoE, and it’s handling the job perfectly.

Tycon Systems Inc provided exactly what we needed for a brand new IP video intercom setup. We used their components to tap 12-volt DC power from the POE switch for a local ADA-compliant strobe device. The solution worked perfectly, and we are very satisfied with the results.

I’m very happy with my purchase from Tycon Systems! It’s exactly what I needed. My only small suggestion would be a notification feature for when the unit switches to backup power. I have a Netonix switch connected directly to the battery, which reports voltage drops, but I’m worried that its 2A draw might be tricking the BC24 into keeping the voltage in absorption mode (it’s currently sitting at 28.4 volts). Tycon’s support team clarified that a constant load can indeed fool the charger into thinking the battery isn’t fully charged and recommended connecting main loads to the charger’s output instead. They also mentioned that their TPDIN-Monitor-WEB2 product would solve my notification issue. Great service and helpful advice.

Tycon Systems provided exactly what I needed for this project. I had to network two PLCs without running new power lines or long cables, and this switch/extender was the ideal fix. By using PoE on the existing network cable for PLC 1 and connecting the new switch via Cat 6 to the other unit, I avoided the time and cost of pulling extra data lines or installing a 120V outlet for a small network switch. It’s a compact, capable device that handled the job perfectly and offers plenty of room for future expansion. My only hesitation in giving a perfect score is the lack of a DIN rail adapter option, which would make installation even easier. Still, it’s a great tool to have in the kit.

Tycon Systems has been a game-changer for our infrastructure. We’ve swapped out overpriced unmanaged switches for their PoE injectors and the results speak for themselves. After testing three units for six months to a year, they’ve been completely trouble-free. It’s not only cutting costs but also saving us the stress of dealing with failures. Solid equipment, highly recommended.
