Fascinating place to visit and work. I worked with a controls engineering team. This place conducts world class research in particle physics and rare medical isotopes.
Amazing particle physics research facility. Welcoming to the public, always ready to educate.
TRIUMF is a wonderful place transmitting the intellectual vibes in the air.
They give free tours once a week. They are mostly just checking out the space, but they try to teach you a little about what happens as well. There is one section that's interactive...but I won't ruin that surprise. Best middle school plus, at least.
