The Network/La Red: Empowering Survivors to End Partner Abuse
The Network/La Red is a survivor-led organization that aims to end partner abuse through organizing, education, and advocacy. Founded in 1989, the organization has been providing support and resources to survivors of domestic violence for over three decades.
At The Network/La Red, survivors are at the forefront of everything they do. The organization recognizes that survivors are experts in their own experiences and works alongside them to create a world where partner abuse no longer exists. Through their work, they aim to empower survivors by providing them with the tools and resources they need to heal from trauma and rebuild their lives.
One of the unique aspects of The Network/La Red is its focus on LGBTQ+ communities. The organization recognizes that partner abuse affects people of all genders and sexual orientations and works tirelessly to ensure that everyone has access to support services regardless of their identity.
