This place is heaven!!!!! My girlfriend just moved in so we dropped in here on a whim for a coffee and was blown away by the options. Ended up getting a breakfast sandwich, it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. The pesto mayo is a great twist on an old classic. Girlfriend got the pork with apple butter. Very impressed and this just became our new breakfast spot!!!!!

I want to express my gratitude to Dan for his courtesy, as he could arrange the birthday cake for my daughter the same day and also delivered it to our home at the requested time. My daughter loved the cake.

Great coffee, great food, great service. I went there before and after COVID, great experiences. I only just tried the food yesterday which is why I m reviewing now. My friend and I both got chicken paninis and coffee, agreed they were proper, would recommend it. Unlike a lot of other coffee shops, they serve beer and other alcoholic beverages, which might appeal to some people. Way better than the Starbucks which used to be there.

Their soup is absolutely delicious. It's probably the best soup in town. Even my friend who hates tomatoes loves this tomato and pepper soup. You can buy it in jars and take it home too. You can also buy European candy here. Great place!

All new customers get a sample of homemade soup which is delicious, especially the tomato soup. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The kind of place you could easily see yourself spending an hour or so just soaking up friendly conversation.

It's a very nice bright place, perfect for a cold winter afternoon. You can play board games while having homemade soup and cake. The owner is really laid back and friendly. I'd go back again.

The owner is always so friendly and welcoming. Love the tomato soup and tuna melts. Weird combo but all homemade and very tasty. Definitely a favourite of ours when we feel like healthier options when we are out and about.

I really like this cafe. It's not too busy, the Wi-Fi is good. The food is pretty decent, and the service was excellent. I would definitely go here again.

Not only are their baked goods beyond delicious and fresh, but the owner Dan is amazing. There was a mix up with a rather large order through Uber Eats and he closed his shop to come drop the remainder of my order off to me. This kind of customer service is so extremely rare these days. I can not vouch for the quality of both the employer/employees and the food enough. Thank you Dan and staff! You can definitely count our house hold as regular customers along with our friends and family.

A great independent cafe. Offers much more than just coffee and treats though. They have Kawartha Dairy ice cream, a small collection of interesting candy, board games to play, alcohol (i.e. they're licensed LLBO), and a menu of hot food. This is a great place to meet before and after runs or rides on the weekend with ample parking and easy access to the countryside.

Friendly staff and a great variety of sandwiches, soups and desserts to choose from. Unfortunately, when I ordered a sandwich and soup combo, I was given half of a very small sandwich which did not justify the price I paid. Will not return anytime soon, which is a shame.

This is a very nice place to go. I went there today. It's a nice comfortable place to go. Good music, good overall background. This is a nice peaceful restaurant with a good variety of food options. Good for anything really. Very friendly staff. Only complaint is that the food is quite overpriced to be honest. If they were to reduce the price a little I'm sure they would have a lot more people. Good, peaceful, and nice overall restaurant :D

It was an awesome friendly atmosphere with polite and welcoming service. It's totally worth it to drop in for a coffee and a sandwich. They encouraged picking up a game of trivial pursuit to enjoy with friends while having a warm cocoa.
