I am a current tenant in their flagship Hilton Garden Inn in Buffalo NY. I have been laid off due the COVID 19 and am a single father fighting for equal custody of my 2 beautiful children. Their management and VP of Sales has no sympathy or interest to assist me in ending my lease. They said it s a contract and we are sticking by it, even though they have removed all amenities I was promised due to the pandemic. Ironically their excuse to break their agreement was the same as mine, the pandemic, but they will not recognize my side only theirs as an excusable excuse. They should have more compassion during this time especially as their portfolio is made up of mostly nursing and assisted living homes which have been hit huge with COVID. I thought we were all In this together but apparently not Hamister, they are in this for themselves.
Awful place to work. If you know the Hamister name, then you should know to run far away.

ONE OF MY DAUGHTERS HELPS PAY MY RENT SO HE PROBABLY WRONGFULLY ASSUMED SHE HAS MY POWER OF ATTORNEY. ONLY MY SIGNATURE IS LEGAL. NOONE HAS MY POA.
I HAD SUFFERED A HEART ATTACK AND UNDERWENT OPEN HEART SURGERY AND AND WAS SUPPOSED TO BE RETURNED TO SHERRILL HILLS WHERE I HAD BEEN A RESIDENT SINCE IT WAS COMPLETED 5 YEARS AGO WITHOUT MY 4 ROOMS OF FURNITURE OR MY CLOTHES AFTER REHAB AT LIFE CARE OF BLOUNT COUNTY, ANOTHER DIRTY, MISMANAGED FACILITY GUILTY OF MEDICARE FRAUD WHICH I AM ADDRESSING. I AM 86 YEARS OLD. IS THIS A SAMPLE OF ELDER ABUSE? OR DO THEY THINK THAT BECAUSE I AM 68 YEARS OLD I AM UNABLE TO DEFEND MYSELF?
I REALIZE THE HAMISTER GROUP IS PROTECTED UNDER THEIR LLC CHARTER FOR MOST LIABILITES BUT THEY APPEAR TO BE IN DANGER OF LOSING THEIR LLC AT NORTHSHORE HEIGHTS KNOXVILLE. A LOT OF RESIDENTS HAVE MOVED OUT AND MANY MORE, INCLUDING MYSELF, ARE FOLLOWING.
NSH IS DIRTY. THEIR WEBSITE DOESN''T MENTION THAT THEY ONLY CLEAN YOUR ROOM ONCE A WEEK. AT MY AGE,86, I AM UNABLE TO CLEAN THE OTHER DAYS. THE ONLY "ASSISTANCE "I RECEIVE ARE 3 BARELY-EDIBLE MEALS PER DAY. THEY ALSO CHARGE $6.50 FOR EACH MEAL THEY DELIVER TO YOUR ROOM. IN ADDITION TO $4,000 RENT (N0T $3,OOO THEY DESCRIBE IN THE WEBSITE) AND CHARGES FOR MEDICATION MANAGEMENT, I SPEND A LOT OF MONEY ON TAKEOUT FOOD. IT IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE CHEF (WHO IS LEAVING) OR THE KITCHEN STAFF BUT A LACK OF FUNDS TO PURCHASE DECENT QUALITY FOOD. THE FOOD IS VERY POOR QUALITY.
I COULD GO FURTHER BUT I FEEL SURE VERY FEW ARE INTERESTED. I DOUBT THAT MARK HAMISHER WILL SEE THIS OR BE INTERESTED IN READING IT. THERE ARE.TOO MANY LAYERS OF SCREENING BETWEEN US.
MY ADVICE TO EVERYONE DON'T READ OR BELIEVE THE WEBSITE. MY 'SUITE' IS ONE ROOM APPROXIMATELY 8X4 X 8X6 - THE SIZE OF MY WALKIN CLOSET I LEFT. THE ONLY FURNITURE I HAVE IS A QUEEN-SIZE BED AND A RECLINER SIDE BY SIDE WITH NO SPACE TO WALK BETWEEN. NOWHERE FOR ANYONE T0 SIT SINCE THE RECLINER IS MY "OFFICE" "
IF I AM ABLE, I WILL BE OUT OF THIS PLACE SOON ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS.
