The fox was a real highlight. Great staff and terrific food. Next time we're in Shropshire we'll be back

Top class welcome,warm cosy rooms, breakfast and evening meals first class, run by 2 of the nicest people who's aim is to guarantee your stay is great, just spent 3 nights here and would certainly return, intact one of our favourite places, thankyou Tony, jen and all of your staff

The hosts Tony and Jen were really helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful and immaculate. Breakfast was yummy. We will definately be back next year and would highly recommend the fox to anyone.

Had a delightful meal here today, after being turned away by The Raven, who had a shooting party due. Service great, and the food lovely .

Tasty lunch with generous portions, friendly and welcoming staff

Under new ownership and terrible. Room had dirty coffee cups on the bedside table, litter on the floor and lots of hair on the bedsheets. Person that checked us in needed to wash their hands, looked like they hadn't washed in a week. These were not teething troubles, just a lack of care and attention for the very basics. Checked out and stayed somewhere else as nothing about this place fills me with confidence.

Stopped here for lunch, really nice pub, lunch menu was pretty simple but all done really nicely. Lovely friendly atmosphere, we were made to feel very welcome and our young grandson was well catered for. This is probably the nicest place I have been for a meal in a long time, very unpretentious, just really good for a relaxing meal. Thankyou for your hospitality, would recommend but don't want you to be busy next time we are in the area

Best food I have had out in a long time! Went in because of the menu outside which was different to the one we had seen when browsing two days previously. However we were presented only with a set menu. I felt a little disappointed but the choice was great. I chose the sirloin which came with chips, leafy salad and unexpected mushrooms with pesto. It was great. Strongly recommend.

Lovely meal, friendly staff, only regret is we didn't return for another meal, maybe next time we travel that way.

Went to fox for Sunday lunch with my 2small dogs, the meal was fabulous, since I moved to bridgnorth 14 months ago it is the best Sunday lunch I have found, the only thing that has put me off is that they are supposed to be dog friendly, we had to eat in the bar with our dogs, don t mind this, but the tables in the bar are not good tables for eating a meal off, need changing for proper dinning tables

Ok for a quiet drink, not a great atmosphere BUT that maybe just my opinion.

The food was excellent. Really enjoyed the pork belly. The service was very good too.

Stayed a night while in town for a wedding. Nice room, comfy bed. Only small issue, for us, the family room is above the bar which was noisy until midnight. Not perfect with a 6yr old trying to sleep.

The amazing warm welcome, the food, the rooms, was excellent, could not fault. Tony and Jen made our stay exceptional, the pub is amazing, the staff and customers so welcoming. The food is second to none. We will be back, thank you for your kind hospitality, absolutely perfect.

Lunchtime menu was a little limited, but couldn't fault the quality, or portion size of what we ordered.
Staff were very pleasant and attentive too.

Have been sat waiting for food for 1 hour and a half. Apparently a table of 10 were in. We ordered and 20 mins later the table of 10 ordered. They have since had starters and mains, which they've just finished. Ooh look my food has now turned up!!!!!!!! Can't recommend it. If I had a pound for every time I heard my food was on its way, I could have paid for the meal. Just been offered a free drink, but it's a little too late. Try if you're patient but not hungry.

A nice a pleasant visit, just popped in a couple of weeks ago for a drink with family. All Covid-19 precautions being adhered to with a one way system in place. It was great to be able to get around a table with family for a chat.

Excellent food and service at a very good price. Complimentary sparkling water was a surprise bonus.

Another visit to the fox and this year the coffee machine has broken last year it wasit was no food or hot drinks i think theres a pattern here .coffee isnt alchohol

We booked a table for my parents for their golden wedding anniversary. They were very impressed by the service, the quality and quantity of the meal. A lovely, welcoming, friendly atmosphere was enjoyed. They highly recommend it. So we will all be visiting very soon.

Great food and I mean great, excellent staff with a can do approach,and the setting is great too, so if your looking for the above Witt affordable then you won't be dissapointed
