The Messenger is the perfect start to the day! It always makes me laugh-especially when the paper offers an opinion on national or world events. Just a few weeks ago, I called the office because the online edition used the word "firey" to describe a blaze in town; I suggested a spelling change so as to avoid portraying the city poorly (the person on the phone mocked me). It's refreshing to find an outlet so obviously clueless about the role of The Fourth Estate in America AND be willing to communicate their apathy to readers. The fact that 18k people buy/subscribe to it is a testimony to it's appeal among area residents.
