Academic-wise it's the best engineering school in the country. Very good lecturers (most of them), good facilities for sports and recreation - Olympic size swimming free of charge for students and a very good gym at very low price. Student life not the best compared to other universities.

I almost lost my soul, but it's definitely a flagship institution. It has no competition here in the country.
Loved my time there! A lot of places to hang out with friends, nice dorms(but kinda hard to get if you live in close cities) has a Pizza Hut branch and some nice places to eat in.

The number one technological school in the State of Israel. I had a bachelor's and a master's degree there. very high level. I also studied abroad.
In terms of costs, the Technion is cheaper. Apparently subsidized by the state and donors. Tuition fees are a quarter of the total abroad.
