Technion Reviews

In all fields of study at the Technion, this is the highest level of study in Israel (and probably also in the world). For those who really want to learn and receive knowledge, this is the place, but if the goal is only an academic degree, it is recommended to choose another institution. The studies are difficult, the educational requirements are high, and it is difficult to combine work and studies. However, as graduates of the Technion, in most cases, Technion graduates have a clear preference over all graduates of another institution.

Known for being both harsh and demanding, its graduates are well established at the top of Israel's high tech industry.

Top class institution for scientific research and engineering studies.

Academic-wise it's the best engineering school in the country. Very good lecturers (most of them), good facilities for sports and recreation - Olympic size swimming free of charge for students and a very good gym at very low price. Student life not the best compared to other universities.

Lively social life. Sports and entertainment facilities (such as the dance hall for parties and salsa). Student Pub. Cinema (including sports games screenings). Excellent student association.

Been a student 1988-1990. Had great time. The best tech. University in Israel and among the best worldwide. Very nice Carmal mountain location and views. They built a new nano-center lately. Highly recommended.

I should say that is is definitely one of the best Technology Institution in the world.The campus and the lecturers are really nice! I am proud to be a part of it.

One of the best Universities in Israel. Modern facilities and many services available for the students and workers. Even if you're not enrolled here is a great place to visit and explore. There is a botanical garden great to have a relax time.

A leading technological institution. First place in engineering in Israel

One of the most prestigious universities in Israel, whose diplomas are appreciated around the world.
The territory of the university is surrounded by forest and park areas, which ideally contribute to the productive study of students. In addition, there are cafeterias, several shops, banks, a gym, playgrounds, a swimming pool and, in fact, everything you need for a modern person.
And the air there is magnificent, because there is coniferous forest around! The zone is accessible to everyone as well ... you can walk with your family, walk with animals or just walk alone enjoying the forest coolness and freshness.

I'm a brazilian student. Spent 2 months there. Really loved everything about it. The people, the food, the facilities...

The best technological institute in Israel. One of the greatest in the world

I almost lost my soul, but it's definitely a flagship institution. It has no competition here in the country.

Loved my time there! A lot of places to hang out with friends, nice dorms(but kinda hard to get if you live in close cities) has a Pizza Hut branch and some nice places to eat in.

The studies are hard as most people will tell but not impossibly hard, great place for engineering studies!

The number one technological school in the State of Israel. I had a bachelor's and a master's degree there. very high level. I also studied abroad.
In terms of costs, the Technion is cheaper. Apparently subsidized by the state and donors. Tuition fees are a quarter of the total abroad.
The Technion has nothing to be ashamed of. Do the maximum with a budget. There will always be better laboratories, and studies with more resources. Not all subjects Technion leads world-class, and on some issues there are better schools.
There are definitely niches where the Technion is a breakthrough - Ziv-Lampl's compression algorithm.
The Technion gave me everything I needed - dormitories, professional teachers, high-level students, connections with colleagues abroad.
There are other excellent schools in Israel - Tel Aviv, Bar-Ilan, Weizmann, Be'er Sheva, Tel Aviv and Haifa. Each with its own leading themes.
In the world, Technion graduates are considered.
In high school I had no trouble dealing with Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Cornell, Georgia Tech and any other ivy university. It is highly recommended.

A University of choice. I have always wished to study at this university. May be one day, I'll get that golden chance.

Learn hard, but get a great deal relative to other places whether it is in the Olympic pool, in the lots or in the large libraries. Part of the outdated curriculum

Technion is a University of Sciences and all kind of engineering and technologies. one of the best universities

An Impressive institute indeed. Hard to get in but once you're in, it'll be easier for you to get a job nationwide and internationally too in some cases. Good atmosphere.

Keep yourself updated with the NY campus in cooperation with Cornell Uni, and don't forget, the Technion has 3 Nobel Prize winners in less then 10 years ;))

The Technion University specializes in engineering here for many professions, the study track is difficult compared to the other universities, but they finish studying and places and percentages of finding work and being accepted into the job market are especially high. Most people studying at the Technion in Haifa indicate that it is worthwhile to study at the Technion. A significant number of locally renowned engineers are known worldwide. The Technion is also recognized as a global university.

The place to study. Very high level studies, good campus life. Recommend

In this place I spent about 10 years. High level of teaching. Convenient hostels. Everything is in one place - shops, a bank, a swimming pool, and sports sections. Even a kindergarten. I especially want to emphasize Malka, who is sitting in an Agud, who is looking for how to help the student. An amazing person who holds the whole place.

The technion is a great school with a beautiful view, however, be ready to climb a lot of hills to get across campus.

I studied there, really don't like this place, Tel Aviv uni is way better and nicer

Super interesting experience of visiting one of the most advanced centers of research in technology worldwide. Most interesting is the focus on the use and dissemination of the technologies developed, collaborating with companies and entrepreneurs who take their discoveries to the real world.
