It's ok. Not much nice staff but can be. Big choice? Definitely not. But you can find what you need if you are flexible.

I shop here for gluten and dairy free products as i find they are the most reasonable price wit good selection

Nice for those shopping in the City, has all that any other supervalu store has to offer.

This supermarket carries a good range of the essentials, but after several visits, I have to conclude that the staff are among the rudest I have ever come across.

Can be expensive but good stuff, open on holidays when all other supermarket are closed

Supervalue my arse went in today for a hot chicken roll they charged me 6.07 euro wont be going in there again and if anyone asked ill be telling them Rip off ireland

Fine to grab a prepacked sandwich for lunch, but totally unsuitable for a weekly shop. Poor selection of produce, with a lot of stock being short dated. Only self-service and tobacco counter tills open, which are inappropriate for large volume shopping. Staff we encountered were unhelpful, and frankly quite rude.

If you are in a hurry good place to shop in and out.

Great place to go shopping and to find whatever you need. Friendly staff and everything under one roof. Just remember to bring bags if you don't want to have to pay for them.

After the renovation this location offers a much nicer shopping experience. More fitting of the SuperValu brand.

This SuperValu is small but has the feel of a more specialty Artisan shop than the others. The selection of liqueurs and spirits is vast.

Definatley the slowest till service in any shop anywhere and getting worse since they have bought in the slowest self service tills I have ever seen since the remodel.
Remodel is a bit silly half the products available compared to before which are at a more expensive price. Its not a whole foods or hipster shop its people running to collect a few things on the way home.

Nice new shop but the stingiest made up sandwiches around. Hardly no filling added compared to Centra and more expensive. The staff are nice but I'm convinced theyre told to be mean with ingredients.

This is 100% the worst hot deli in ireland, due to the over cooked food that is clearly cooked to early in the day, by the time lunch come around your chewing on a chip that has the texture of tarmac,

The mushrooms look like a 90year olds neck

The self serve hot deli,, spicy chicken wing in it at 9am , who eats spicy chicken wings at 9am apart from americans.
Jambons, hashbrowns , sausages( not cocktail sausages its not new years eve)

watchin staff at the(chopped style) salad bar is like watching a toddler using a knife and fork for the first time.

Supervalu... it has those unexpected item in the bagging area machines and security. Handy to get a xnack if waiting between coaches at the nearby bud station.

Great variety of food on offer with plenty of bargains...very helpful and friendly staff. Very well located in a shopping mall in Cork city close to the main thoroughfare of St. Patrick's street

Staff very helpful and very friendly. Great place to shop. Very easy place to find as it's within merchants quay shopping centre. They make up sandwiches. There's a coffee shop within supervalu merchants quay. Great place to do a quick shop.

Great shop and great kind staff has everything you need and more

Large enough location with small enough variety of prepacked items. However the deli and fresh fridge selection is very good

Overpriced supermarket even with product price drop

I come here to grab some snacks and candy to take back home with me. The prices are reasonable and its located in the city center.

Good Supervalu, not one of the best but an improvement after a recent revamp. Some of the aisles near the tills are a bit cramped and claustrophobic

It was fun to visit Market Quay shopping center with SuperValu grocery store, the Frank and Honest coffee bar and Mark and Spencer department store all in one building! This was a just a quick walk from the Cork City main bus terminal so it was my first stop visiting Cork City.

Fab store for making up lunch rolls/ sandwiches/salads. very good ready meals this store supplies the very tasty award winning kinsale bay food Co pates, fish pie cottage pie shepards pie and chowder all gluten free brilliant you have to pay to park but it's in the middle of the city.

It's my shop to go for groceries but it's impossible to grab a packet of crisps unless you want to kneel down and squiggle between the people queing and paying at the tills. They recently placed a shelf with SOME crisps inside actual shop but not all the brands.

Great staff also brilliant selection of fruit and vegetables. I love their special offers

11:30am they had no eggs for a breakfast roll, I had asked for a boiled egg from the salad bar and was told they cannot cross hot food with cold?
I changed to a chicken fillet roll (no problem mixing hot chicken with salad this time) and they had no taco sauce, the girl didn't give me a chance to pick another sauce and wrapped. Up the roll and gave it to me.

Seems odd running out of such products at 11:30 on a Wednesday morning.

Vast array of merchandise and good prices,recommended!

More of a focus now on the "instore theatre" with the first thing to greet you on the way in to the store at lunchtime is a cooking station and the attendant smells of whatever is cooking - it is all about the fresh foods on the way in to the shop - creates a nice "hero" effect. As a longtime customer of the shop, I could run around it and get what I wanted, always knowing where things were - since it was done up, this is not as easy. It does always tick the boxes for what I want, but I always feel that it is a bit small and there is something missing. It is still a good Supervalu.

I had put the exact amount of change into the self service machine and it didn't register it. The member of staff on duty categorically denied that I had and said that the machine said I still owed money. However, did not conduct any kind of investigation to find out if the machine was faulty and as a result I have now overpaid and lost out on my money! I want it back!!

That's the only SuperValu in Cork, but it is strategically placed. They sell branded products for affordable prices, as well as fresh food options. Worth trying at least once
