Visited in the fall, great views of fall colors....
Awesome gondola ride and trails to explore, may do the alpine slide next time
The view is unbelievably gorgeous! Well worth the price of the gondola ride $68 for 1 senior, 1 adult, and 1 child. The downfall is that although there is an attendant, the seats were not disinfected between people and there were no wipes to do it yourself. Many people not masked.
Amazing view, and good food. Lines were a bit long. The gondola ride was completely worth the cost.
Had a blast as we were waiting out the passing storm and the wait staff was fantastic! We had an outdoor feathered friend too!
If you like eating straight up salt then you would love this place. We ordered the beef and vegetables soup, fish and chips and chicken strips. The soup tasted like an entire package of salt was dissolved in the cup of soup. The fish breading was soggy and so salty it was inedible. The chicken strips were the least salty of the bunch and they were barely edible. There is a sign on the fountain drink station that there are no refills. I attempted to get Mountain Dew, but the syrup was out so it was carbonated water. I then tried to get Orange Crush and a large bug came out of the tap. Not a pleasant experience in ANY way. Don't waste your money.
Breathtaking view of the Lake Superior! One should visit with their families!
It is a spectacular view in the summer, but I would say that more times than not we are there and the restaurant is closed because they are preparing for a wedding. It would be nice if they told you this BEFORE you purchased the gondola tickets and went to the top.
Prices are higher then expected, covid doesn't help. But it was ok.
We had a great day, and I suggest next time you're looking for lodging at Lutsen to stay right on the mountain.
One of the best views of lake superior you can find
Nice view!! Started snowing when we came here. October 17, 2020.
Hike up. Take the gondola down! Excellent hike. But not one for everyone.
Enjoyed a ride on the tram, what a great way to see the sights of this beautiful country! The trail to the overlook was quite navigable by my handicapped wife, and the views were worth the climb! Next trip I'll have to book a suite and give it the round the clock observation!
Food was very good, but the service was very slow and they were not very busy. The views from the deck are out of this world. The gondola ride to the restaurant is worth the money.
Ski resort in the fall must have missed the colors cuz mostly bare trees on the gondola ride on sept 26th I think this winter is going to be a wild ride.
Best skiing in the Midwest. Nice long runs, great chalet on top of Moose Mountain. Ski-in, ski-out condos are very comfortable.
always busy but there's somehow always room for everyone. Food is decent, they never have pickles at this chalet though. Great view of the lake and later in the day a great view of the sunset.
Good views, took the summer gondola ride which was a neat perspective. Prices are a bit rich for what you get. I hike far better views locally for free.
Awesome color this year! Walked the trails up by the chalet. Beautiful day in the 70's, sunny, no wind. Perfect for a gondola ride.
Views were fantastic. Not much of a Cafe though, bring your own food if planning to eat.
Beautiful views. Great place to relax and enjoy a drink with such amazing views
