This maid service is awesome! It's easy to sign up, they are almost infinitely flexible in terms of frequency and timing of service, the value is excellent, and they are easy to contact and very responsive. Currently Reagan is my regular student cleaner and she is incredible - attentive, responsive to individual requests, and she often goes above and beyond and cleans something that I didn't specifically ask to be cleaned. I highly recommend this service.

They reached out to me when they were on their way and when they got in which I really liked. I came home and was shocked at the attention to detail. A HUGE shout out to Erin and Luis because they cleaned EVERYTHING. My tub was flawless. I have never seen it so white. Like they really got in there. Even the tiles! They folded my towels, cleaned crevices I didn't even realize needed to be cleaned...just amazing. The next day I open my microwave and stopped dead in my tracks. THEY CLEANED MY MICROWAVE. They are the real heroes. Using this service is a great way to get a fresh start on your apartment. Since it's been cleaned I have been able to keep it that way because the the bar has been raised so high. I love walking into my place now and I can't thank Erin and Luis enough!!

Two young women were a powerful team helping do the kind of deep cleaning that needs to be done sometimes. They were prompt, courteous, helped each other and did really nice work at our home. Becky and David O'Brien.

Harassing billing policy. If you cancel your service or they can't find parking for your apartment, you will be charged $50 for a product or service you did not receive. Also, they will call your phone and spam you with emails constantly begging for money.

I was reading your book 'Permission to screw up', and I can't help google whether your this story so real or fiction. I run a small startup myself and am so inspired I confess coping few of your ideas. Great work!! 5 stars.

I used Student Maid to clean my apartments prior to move in day, and they were absolutely incredible. In the past, I worked with them and it was a rough start. However, this year I decided to give them another go and am EXTREMELY happy I did. I have never had a cleaner with cleans like this in my experience. They pulled the appliances, they did a wonderful job even with the very heavy cleans. They had a wonderful attitude with residents and with my staff. I highly recommend them for turn, and will happily be using them next year!

POOR business ethics. They hire students (high school & college) who are young and inexperienced. Then, they take advantage of these students by not paying as agreed. I would NOT support a business with such unethical practices

My husband and I used their services twice before we sold our house. Once to get our home ready to go on the market and the second time for our move out cleaning before we closed. We were so impressed with the level of service from start to finish! The scheduling process was super easy and I received great customer service on the phone when discussing our needs before scheduling. We received reminders prior to our service to notify us of the arrival time and the team would be cleaning. The students on the cleaning teams were great... super nice and eager to please. They really took care and pride in their work. We were so happy with the final outcome both times and would highly recommend their services. Our dogs LOVE Dogs Rule. We use them every time we leave town!

Pros:The staff is courteous and polite and they were on time. I was on a waiting list and was promptly called when a spot opened up. They bring their own cleaning products.
Cons: They charged me for 1.5 hours and the cleaning was sub par ( I live in a fairly small apartment). It looked okay at first but when I started checking more carefully I could see many areas have been barely touched. Not a lot of "attention to detail" which is one of their supposed trademarks. 2.5 stars really

Everyone was very friendly and they were able to come out within 2 days. Cleaning overall was okay. There were still spots on the floors, didn't look like they had been mopped. Shower walls weren't cleaned. Carpet was vacuumed but there was still dirt/trash on edges by baseboards. Some baseboards were cleaned and some were dirty/dusty. Faucets were not cleaned thoroughly. Still stains at bottom of toilet that could be cleaned with minimal effort. Cleaning wasn't terrible but could use improvement in being detailed.

I have had my home cleaned by them twice and both times they were outstanding! They did exactly what I had asked, and more by helping move furniture to get my sons toys out from under the couches and beds. The cleaners were always friendly and hard working. Sidney did an outstanding job. Very friendly office staff who's always ready to help and fix any mistakes or issues.
They also do pet sitting and organizing which I thought was cool. You're helping out a local business with a healthy work environment and supporting students who have to work to pay for their education. Plus this is the best price in town!! Highly recommend for everyone to give to them a try.

Had two young ladies come and clean my home. They were puntual, profesional, and had a great cheerful attitude. They notified me when they were finished and had me walk around the home to assure it was up to my standards! They pay great attention to detail! All around great cleaning service and customer service! I would highly recommend to all.

I have enjoyed the residential cleaning services that the team at Student Maid have provided to me, as I am a busy mom and small business owner. I receive a reminder notice with the estimated arrival time before each visit and a courtesy phone call shortly before the students arrive. The team at Student Maid does a fantastic job and has an amazing leader in Kristen Hadeed. Student Maid only hires students with a 3.5 GPA or higher which means they get kids that are responsible and smart. I highly recommend them!

We used Student Maid here in Pensacola when we moved offices. They cleaned as we moved out and did an AMAZING job!!! They even did some work to our new office prior to move in. I have never used a cleaning service before student maid. I have a 4 bed, 2 bath home with 1800 sq ft. I needed someone to help me clean my home as I just had my third baby and my house is in need of some tlc. I set a time limit of 2.5 hours since it was my first cleaning and I didn't want to pay 200 for someone to clean my house. I figured 2.5 hours x 2 people = 5 man hours which should be enough to get my house pretty clean. I asked for things to be cleaned in a certain order since there was a time limit.

First, one of the cleaners (a male student) was 20 minutes late. The young lady who cleaned was on time and seemed to do a great job, but he was lackluster at best. The bathrooms, which were first on my list, were sparkling clean. Then they disregarded my list and dusted surfaces in my whole house, cleaned bedrooms, cleaned glass, and scrubbed my kitchen. The young man did my floors, which was extremely important to me (2nd on list), and they did not finish them. They vacuumed the carpeted areas well but the sweeping of my tile was shoddy. There was dirt and dust on the tile left in very obvious areas of my living room. Only about 1/2 the tile was mopped. Then, someone dusted the fans in the bedrooms after they vacuumed, leaving clods of dust on the floor I had to go and re-vacuum. My kitchen was left beautiful and clean, but that was not as much of a priority in my mind and my list was ignored. Only half of my floors were done! The young man who did the tile did not earn any points by being late and cleaning so poorly/slowly.

Overall, I expected more for $160 dollars! I was only going to give 2 stars, but their customer service earned an extra star because they knocked $40 off since I was dissatisfied. I will not be using them again. I feel like I can get more for my money elsewhere.

Abbie was perfect for our Oktoberfest party! She made sure that everything was taken care of during our party with grace and thoughtfulness. The food and drink tables looked perfect throughout the evening. Plates were cleared and loaded into the dishwasher. She even found vases for flowers that our guests brought and placed them beautifully for everyone to enjoy. She let me be a hostess and enjoy our event. Our guests were impressed and I stayed relaxed.

Student Maid is a branding machine. The maids and administration are extremely skilled at GIVING THE APPEARANCE of a highly qualified and skilled cleaning company. But in reality, past their superior branding, strong customer service, and attractive maids, their actual product is subpar. Occasionally they have a skilled cleaner. But most of them do a bad job, miss details, overall not suitable for purposes of maid service. I would rather hire the guy on Craiglist that actually gets to the details instead of this branding machine. But they come with a great smile...

They're always on time and they always do a great job and Everyone is always so nice even the office staff is so helpful I just love them love them love them and thank you for doing such a great job and my house is never been so clean thank you again

I was overall very disappointed in the cleaning services provided by Student Maid...I went in with high expectations after reading all the other positive reviews and reviewing the website, they seemed like a very reputable, professional, and reliable company, however, my experience was different. The only positive I can take from this experience is that the 2 students that came to clean were professional and friendly...and when I emailed a complaint about the cleaning done, I did receive an almost immediate response( on a weekend too.)
So the cleaning: I thoroughly reviewed the "cleaning checklist" that was provided on the website, and highlighted and pointed out to the students the areas that were most important(to make sure they were done first before the allotted time was up.)They did follow my "directions" as far as which rooms to begin with, but after further inspection, they missed more areas than were cleaned. For example: In the master bedroom: They dusted the top of the dressers/end tables, but did not dust the outside of the drawers or the legs, they dusted the footboard of the bed but not the headboard, they did not dust the ceiling fan or light fixture, and did not dust the blinds/sills...all these items were on the "checklist" as routine items that were to be cleaned. In the living room: They did not dust the light fixtures and ceiling fans, did not dust the baseboards, did not move the small area rugs to clean the tile floor underneath, and did not dust any of the bookcases/shelves. Also, all of these items were on the routine checklist. I did ask them to go back and dust the bookshelves, and they only dusted 1 shelf, but did not complete the entire task. These are just a couple examples of things missed, but there were multiple areas missed in every room of the house. I feel this is such a disservice, especially for the price we are paying. I emailed the company, and they did schedule a "touch up" clean, however, the touch up clean is only 30 minutes, so they were only able to "fix" 2 things that were missed...I'm hoping I just received a random bad cleaning job, and that this is not the norm, but unfortunately, I will not use this company again...For the price, it was not worth it at all...I still had to go back and clean myself(which isn't the point after you pay someone $65/hour for a cleaning.)

Cleaning teams do a great job and work with you to make sure to concentrate on your priorities. Easy to schedule and office is very flexible. Friendly staff, even my dogs like them! Wouldn't use anyone else to clean my house!

I started using Student Maid about 4 months ago when I got a gift card for my birthday from a friend who also uses the service. I appreciate how easy and flexible their scheduling is I have been able to get daytime, evening and weekend cleanings based on my work schedule. The students are so friendly and professional, always look forward to coming home after the Student Maid service HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Definitely a 5-star, top-notch, cleaning crew. The crew from Student Maid were professional, friendly, and in and out in the allotted time with no hassle. Super easy to schedule and communicate cleaning times. They cleaned up after a bunch of messy programmers and it looked like the wrath of late-night pizza parties had never even happened! They even folded the towels into cute little animal shapes! Cleaning was absolutely an A+ but the towel-origami -- that was WORLD CLASS!

I recently had the unfortunate experience of a tenant trashing my house. After the truckloads of garbage and abandoned articles were hauled away, I called upon Student Maids to do the really hard work of cleaning the place. I am EXTREMELY pleased with the work they did! They cleaned walls, floors, fixtures, windows, and somehow managed to get a stove, refrigerator, shower, and tub that I really believed would have to be disposed of looking practically brand new! And this was no easy job...I almost felt bad sending them into the place! But they were troopers and very professional about the entire situation.
Elaina and Corey in the office provide outstanding customer service, and the cleaning crew was on time as scheduled. I also felt the price was very fair for the work that was done.
Don't let the word "student" in the name worry you. These are dedicated, hard working people who represent their generation very well!

I have been using Student Maid for a number of years and I can't recommend them any higher. After having a terrible experience with other cleaning services I was ready to give up, then I tried Student Maid and have been happy ever since.

Cleaning Quality:
First off, the cleaning are exceptionally done and they take care of all of the little details. You can even leave them a list of what you want them to take care of and they will do it. It's amazing how much they can get done in an hour or two.

Trust:
I also have always had them around without someone else in the house and the cleaners have always been very respectful of my property. Being able to trust someone in your house alone is important and I've never even had a single issue.

Timeliness/Communication:
Student Maid has always been really communicative with me via email and text. It makes it very nice to deal with a company that uses technology to their advantage. Also, the cleaners have always been on time and have that GSD mentality.

Value:
After using a number of other different services I can say that Student Maid is BY FAR the best value. They have very reasonable rates and do a FANTASTIC job.

Overall:
If you are looking for a cleaner you should start with Student Maid. I made the mistake of starting elsewhere and I learned to regret that.
