I have gotten annual subscriptions for over 10 years. The quality of acting, the variety and quality of shows produced, and the whole atmosphere is excellent. They serve snacks, soft drinks, and beer and wine, which they allow in the theatre. They have reduced price tickets and matinees. They have children's plays, which are performed by children. They have camps and other learning programs for kids.

Besides a great theater company to see professional productions, GBSC is an amazing place for kids age 8-18 to get experience with acting. There are summer camps and productions during the school year. The summer camps are open to all kids while the other productions require auditions and in scoring a role. The teaching staff are professionals and the philosophy is clearly about growing both the actor and the child. Some camps are just about putting on a great show - but GBSC emphasizes techniques, improv, dance, singing and just being supportive of each other. My son loves the community of kids and his teachers/ directors. The plays are all supported by professional technical crews so the productions always run perfectly and well organized. My only serious gripe is that their summer camp Day is not long enough for parents and their extended day program is super expensive for sitting on the floor in a big empty room.

It's a lovely intimate house, with one balcony and a large orchestra section. Concessions sells snacks alcohol, and coffee. While the sound in the space isn't perfect for theater (it used to be a movie theater) there are assisted listening devices available in the box office. There is also a small art gallery just off of the main lobby.

We've been members for years now. Membership is a good deal, it's not only affordable, it encourages you right see everything, and if you see everything you'll try new things. They really try to program a mix of fare, from old musical theatre chestnuts to serious and discussion-provoking drama. And the whole experience of membership is more than the sum of the parts. Sometimes you go just because you've got the seats, only to discover something great and unexpected.

Lovely small town theatre with great professional actors and innovative sets. Their seasons are a mix of familiar works and new discoveries. Really enjoy plays and stand up here. Parking is easy if you just arrive a half hour before. They sell wine and soft drinks in lobby. Very reasonably priced

I love theater so it is a plus for me that I live so close to the theater. The last show we watched was The Addam's Family with the Young Co. The play was a different take on the story. It was very entertaining and the music was lively. Always enjoy the performances there.
