Very rude and inattentive bar staff. Very long wait at the bar during busy times and certainly serve the pretty girls first which is very sexist and immature.
Does not support if you buying non alcoholic drinks and makes it very awkward.
Decent ambiance at times when it's sunny outside, means you don't have to spend time inside the place.

We have held an event for charity at St Bart's Brewery for the last few years and they have been nothing short but exceptional!

Right from the early stages of planning the event to the day of the event, the team are very helpful and responsive. We always received positive feedback from those who attend on how nice the venue and the food is.

Hoping to return again next year!

The layout of this venue is sublime, you have stacks of space to enjoy an intimate meal. The menu is small but that is a positive in my opinion because it meant the quality of the food was phenomenal. They could charge more and you'd still feel like you're getting a bargain. A little gem of a venue hiding in the city.

I got to photograph a wedding at St Bart's Brewery this summer. The open room with the mezzanine above is fantastic for high energy weddings and a band on the stage makes for one hell of party! Super friendly and helpful staff too. Also great location for photos outside with the park and Smithfield's market right next door. Highly recommend!

Ordered take away from their lunch menu for work. Their new menu (Q1'2017) is fantastic, the short rib and baby back ribs are all excellent and succulent. Good portions for one person. The interior looks great too so could make a decent after work party/watering stop.

Wanting to have a drink after a long day at work, we made our way to this pub. The bartender downstairs was extremely rude to us in 2 different occasions, even raising his voice and calling one of my colleagues a moron for no reason at all. Worse experience in the 6 years I have been living in London, never seen such appalling behaviour.

Not sure what this place is like during the week but on Sunday this place was really chilled. Was here for Chef Ben Spalding's Small Plate Session. Really varied menu and prepared to order. There was a DJ playing techno that was kinda relaxing and I noticed a table there of very cheffy people enjoying the food and cocktails. This is not what a normal Sunday is like here I expect, but the food was top notch (to be expected) and staff were quick to serve us and eager to please. They did not push at all for their own beers which I thought was a lost opportunity! And it took a while to get their attn to pay the bill. Maybe too relaxed? Definitely a great place to chill on Sunday and coupled with this pop up menu was definitely a bonus.

My brother hosted his wedding here. Best wedding ever!

Good size venue for our crowd and flexible space for the band and dance floor.

The staff were incredibly attentive, patient and friendly. Food was on point. Pam the events organiser was fantastic and a credit to the establishment.

Good selection of beers, IPAs etc.

Couldn't have asked more of this place as a venue. Well done team.

Nice exterior and interior decor but devoid of customers outside of peak times. My most recent visit consisted of a round of drinks for four; gin and tonics for two, a vodka, lime and soda and a pint of 'Meantime Fresh lager'. Not a bubble amongst them. At least it distracted from the lack of taste.
Probably won't return for a while.

Attended a wedding night party on the 27th April & thought it was excellent. The staff were all friendly & helpful. I would like to mention Sara an Italian girl who went above & beyond her role. We were a party of 7 and a little bit worse for wear she helped us out to the taxi who refused us and then went around the corner & hailed another 1. She spoke to the driver who took us to our hotel. Can't speak highly enough of her. The food was excellent too.

We did a wedding celebration here and the venue was absolutely spot on! Everyone loved the food, the decor and the staff were lovely. A number of guests asked us how we found the place as they loved it so much. The mezzanine is great if you want seating space whilst you use the downstairs as a bar/dance floor. Everything ran to schedule and the manager checked in with us every now and then through the night to make sure that we were happy and see if we wanted anything else done.

This was a celebration for our UK friends following our wedding in Australia so we've spoken to A LOT of venues over the last 8 months, and these guys were hands down the easiest and most laid back.

As part of our festive office lunch, we decided to opt for a traditional English Xmas meal at this gem of a place near Smithfield market. This turned out to be a superb choice which we all thoroughly enjoyed. We opted for a festive menu per head (chosen a few weeks ago). The smoked salmon was pleasant and not overpowering but the beef main was superb. Tender, with a great gravy to accompany it and offered with sides of Brussel sprouts and roast potatoes in goose fat. Service was excellent and would thoroughly recommend this hidden gem for a decent festive meal.

I've taken photos at 2 wedding receptions at St Bart's Brewery so far and I have to say, I think it's my favourite London pub venue. It's big enough to hold a good number of people but small enough so that it feels intimate. Most importantly the staff are super friendly and the food and drinks are fantastic. Highly recommended!!
