This is a nice water park. Fun for all ages and families. They search your bags thoroughly/aggressive for food which I do feel their process is slightly intrusive and excessive. Plenty of shade, chairs and loungers and they reopen rides/pools quickly after bad weather has passed.

Best water park in the area. Family friendly and full of fun activities for kids and adults alike. We never come back home without having had a blast. We like to come on weekdays, as it is less busy, and much more to enjoy than on the weekends, as big groups arrive, and the place gets very busy. We love coming back year after year, and looking forward to seeing this place again!

Very nice water park! Rides are very stable and safe. Everything is very clean and accessible to all. Although a ticket for 1 day is slightly expensive, the season pass is only 3x more than a one day pass. It pays for itself in 3 visits, and lets you visit as many times as you d like. If you have children and don t want to go on vacation or can t afford to, i would highly recommend buying season passes for this water park.

I have been buying season passes for my grandchildren for years now, it was a great place for all of us to go. But it is getting harder and harder for us to enjoy the park with all the camps that come.
We wish they would limit the days that camps can come, and leave some days for the local residents.
Also today my 9 yr old granddaughter was yelled at for going on a slide because she was too tall by a life guard. She was embarrassed and cried for awhile. The life guards could handle these situations better.

I've been bringing my kids here for about 20 yes. Even though they are not little anymore we still love coming here during the summer. The only downside, is they do not allow coolers inside the park and the food prices are very high. What we do is bring food/cooler and eat in the parking lot.

My family had a blast this summer. All the rides were awesome. Cowabunga falls was the family favorite. The only drawback was the food. The prices were outrageous. Yes I know it's a amusement park and all amusement park has high priced food. But when you spend $50 on lunch for 4 and you walk away still hungry there's a problem. The best deal was a whole pizza but with season passes who wants to eat pizza every single time. A reasonably price combo menu with drink included would be a great addition.

The park is clean, staffs are friendly, even we went in after 3. The only complaint is they need to updated their life vest, 2/5 of them are wear and tear, either no foam insulation on one side or no foam in the front (this is very dangerous, can you imagine your kid's back is above the water and his/her chest is in the water), I saw few pieces of foam insulation came out from the vest when a little girl was came down from a slides, lucky her father was next to her, otherwise who knows what is going to happen? For your little ones safety, please double check before they put it on.

Only giving 5 stars because my daughter and I had a blast on the rides. Other than that, the staff is very judgemental, and kept staring, and laughing under their breath. I'm not a skinny person, but a curvy person, and they made me feel soo small that my daughter said something. The food is overpriced, and need to bring it down just a bit. Other than the staff being judgemental, except for the gentleman who checked our bags, we had fun.

Cool family spot, we went as a group so the price was much more reasonable. However paying regular price is s little pricey in my opinion for this park. Overall its clean water park, rides are fun and the kids have a blast! I have a 6 yr old and 8 year old. They had fun! Food is expensive but ur paying for the convenience of having quite a few choices. I would reccomend if you can go as a large group the discounts that come along with it is well worth it.

Every summer we take a trip to Splashdown! It is a small park where you don't have to worry about your kids getting lost. The rides are a mixture for all ages. I don't recommend eating inside due to the high prices. Bring a picnic lunch, cute area to eat. I recommend wearing some type of shoe around the park . New lockers are great, no keys...they are electronic. Price reasonable compared to other larger parks... Perfect for a fun day!

SplashDown Beach Waterpark is a great family friendly place to bring young kids and older children and even adults. The park is always super clean and offers thrills for kids, tweens, teens, and even adults! If you are looking for a place to go during the summer in the Hudson Valley, I would highly recommend visiting SplashDown Beach.

TIP: Tickets and Season passes are cheaper online.

This is a nice, well located, and reasonably priced water park. Pros: extremely clean and well run. Has several very fun rides, pools, etc. Parking is straightforward and it's easy to get to the park from the lot, etc. Reasonable locker options make it convenient to bring stuff, etc. They have a barcode bracelet system, you can tag everyone in the group for the same price and open the locker anytime, multiple times, etc. The major downside is that it may be too nice. On pleasant days, it's crowded...really crowded. It's hard to exaggerate how many people pack in there and how ferocious the waits for rides/slides can be and how packed the pools and lazy river get. I guess it's a victim of it's own success, but with no capacity limits and its excellent location, that's the major downside.

This is a GREAT place to spend weekend!
Amazing slides, lots of water attractions.
The whole pirate ship with slides and other fun stuff for kids.
Everyone will find appropriate entertainment.
The parking is free.
Note: buying tickets online you can save $5 per ticket.

This was my first time going to this park. I've been to mean different ones. This one isn't so bad. Just like any water park there are lines. The park is a little smaller than the other parks I've been too. It can get a bit crowded and you can easily lose a whole person, let alone a small child in the crowd. There is no out side food so that means your going to have to spend that money on some pricey food. The rides are fun. I wish the wave pool was bigger, so many people squished into a small area, just to catch a short wave that lasts a minute.
My suggestion are either get there early and leave late or get there late and leave early.
But I will be back again, maybe next year or by the end of the summer.

I came here to have fun and all the staff did is freak out. I know it's for safety but my feet had to go under my friends arms and the lady groaned and threw my friends arms over my legs. I don't that is a nice thing to do to kids. The rides were fun. In the wave pool i saw a kid starting to drown and hold on to a ladder and all the staff did was blowing the whistle telling the kid to get off which he did and his parents had to get him. I can't trust these life guards!

I like this waterpark alot because it's not overwhelmingly big, it's just the right size waterpark with good rides for big kid AND small kids. Like all parks the food and drinks are overpriced, their biggest flaw is what they call "pizza" I think they make it onsite and if they don't they need a new "pizza" vendor...it's dough with a drop of sauce and bad/inexpensive mozzarella cheese that doesn't melt but spreads (stay away from the imitation pizza).
