One of the best experiences I have had in years with my family. I have lived in Cape Town for 4 years and this is the first time I took my family out here! The atmosphere is great, the food is good, they even roast their own coffee there, which is just as exceptional as the wine. All of this brings ...
Great for wine tasting or even enjoying a bottle in the tasting room. The gardens and the landscapes are beautiful and the setting against the mountains stunning. Lourensford is an ever changing canvas that just seems to get better with time. Great coffee shop, wine, restaurant, market, gardens, ar...
Awesome wine tasting experience. Lovely cellar striking a very fine balance between commercial focus and traditional wine cellar atmosphere. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great wines!
Absolutely incredible place! The roastery had unbelievably delicious coffee and pastries and the wine was top notch, I went with my husband on our 22nd anniversary and we were both treated with the utmost respect and graciousness, my husband and I both recommend it, 10/10
We had a treatment at the Spa this weekend past...What an absolutely delightful experience!!!The ladies are so professional...Our treatments were done by Mona Lisa and Essie and they were absolute Gems!We will definitely be back for a longer session!!!
This is the first time I have ever posted a review. I felt compelled to leave a review after the service we received was the worst I have ever experienced. The service was extremely poor and slow. The restaurant was untidy and dirty. The food was average and Items where added to the bill that we did...
The gardens are amazing, but the wine is severely over priced and the staff serving wine tasting were extremely unpleasant. You have to pay for parking. Would recommend for the gardens only.
Gardens stunning as always. Change in vendors not so much.Market seems to have lost its identity along the way. Rest of the place seems a bit neglected...almost like they got bored. Won't be returning any time soon. Especially with the introduction of per car entrance fee
Beautiful sanctuary with great food, great gardens, great Coffee, great wines... Only drawback, massage therapist wasn't wearing a face shield over and above her mask... Was cringing as she was doing a facial as I could hear her breathing throughout...
Very child friendly winery to visit. Ropes course, coffee shop, playground, & even a splash pad. Really nice wine and the market evenings are a perfect evening out!
Great tasting experience. Unique indoor tasting room seating with a view of the steel tanks. Knowledgeable tasting advisor who guided us through the experience.
Lovely scenery and setting. Lots to do in the estate - a lifestyle shop to browse through, a yoga studio and spa, and a restaurant to en...
Very disappointing wine tasting experience. Came for chocolate and wine pairing, and the waitron didn't provide an explanation of the different wine types, which something you'd expect as mandatory at any wine tasting venue. He's excuse was that he is new and still needs to learn - that's not my con...
Worst wine tasting experience I had at Lourensford so far. Boring selection of tastings available and poor service. Restaurant service was good but the gourmet burger patty was so underdone, a vet could have saved it. The fact that you have to pay for parking at a wine estate is alarming and you sho...
The "coffeehouse " is a disgrace. Homemade pie was NOT homemade and the order of other guest was 15 minutes late. What a letdown for such a prestigious winery
What a disgrace!!!! The 'coffee shop' is not worthy to visit. Food disgusting cold and service shocking . I was not interested to taste the wine after this experience. Service and food was terrible .... and to pay for parking is an insult to injury after this bad experience. !!!!!!! Never eve...
Beautiful and lots to do and eat. Disappointed at the latest change by introducing parking. We visit the estate on a very regular basis. We'll have to find an alternative.
Lourensford is probably one of the most beautiful farms in the Western Cape. With the mountains surrounding the farm and the well maintained gardens the cellar is a great place for a date or just a day out. There is quite a range of wines all at a very high standard.
What lovely grounds to relax and spend some quality time with those you love. Took business visitors for a snack and they loved it. Great friendly staff, Will go back.
Very beautiful place and I particularly enjoyed the grape picking, the hanepoot grapes were amazing. They restaurant is very nice as well as the market.
As per the new regulations as announced by government, our Tasting Room is closed with immediate effect. No wine tastings or sales are permitted during this time.
We hope that all of our customers stay safe and take care, particularly now over the peak holi...
Poor info on their website and facebook about market days. Closed today but website showed market was taking place. Wasted the day driving there and back from CT.
Millhouse Restaurant, What a wasted space of potential. Service Managed like a fastfood joint! A restaurant in a pristine location surrounded by mountains and vineyards. Everything to be a household name in Somerset West. The food is of good quality the venue is set picturesque yet the service giv...
Fantastic weekend market with a variety of delicious food offerings. Beautiful gardens where one can picnic. No entrance fee! Nice art gallery, even a Persian carpet auction today, great fun!
Lourensford Spa is absolutely the place to be for a relax morning. 2 hours of absolute bliss. Well educated staff. With friendly smiles and enthusiasm for the client, work and products. Feeling well rested and pampered all the way

Wonderful visit to Lourensford. So good to get out and about in the very relaxing and friendly environment. Took a walk around the beautiful gardens and then had a lunch and coffee from the Coffee Roastery. Great to be able to sit outside at their tables and enjoy a delicious lunch. I will go again.
From when you enter, at security to the little shop where you can make your own platter the two restaurants as well as the actual winery, everyone is so wonderful and friendly! Delicious Viognier and cheese platters. Hint: make your own platter from the shop, it is cheaper than ordering one from the...
Amazing experiences at The Coffee Co at Lourensford. Zita and her team have created an escape from the corona crazy lives that we are facing. A haven for us locals. Thank you!
Adorable location with some very pretty scenery. Wine tasting is great, though not a lot else to do when the market is closed, and all the little shops are very tourist-priced. Shout out to the friendly gate guards who are always interactive with suggestions and news.
We as a family love visiting Lourensford Wine Estate(good food, good beer and great coffee). So much so that we bought the annual pass but is saddens me to say out of all the wine estates we visit your bathrooms are an absolute disgrace, during our past few visits it smelled, filth and toilet paper ...
Very beautiful venue. We have been to the weekend markets a few times which are great. I would recommend going to the markets. They have live music. The only problem i have with the place is the ABRU Craft Brewery. It is very over priced and very average. Everson cider stall at the market is amazing...
What a beautiful place spoiled by them now charging for parking. As a customer to the restaurants and wine cellar, I think this is rediculous. You wont be seeing me again.
Beautifully kept grounds, lots of wine and food to choose from, knowledgeable assistant in cellar, tasty food at Milhouse restaurant, table service can be slow.
This Wine Estate is absolutely stunning with their beautiful art and water features and their variety of plants. Would definitely recommend visiting. They have markets, wine tasting, shops and a restaurant.
Horrible hospitality. The website says that they are open until 17h. When we got there at 16:32, we were informed that they closed at 16:30. Such horrid manners and bad hospitality.
Very easy to spend a lot of time there. The Roasting Company serves excellent coffee and the gardens offer a lot of different things to do , especially for small children.
They can play in the fountain and on the lawns. There is also a nice play area behind the Millhouse Restaurant with 3 jungle ...
Beautiful location , good.food and lovely coffee Lovely selection of cakes and also serve a high tea. Set in gorgeous surroundings at the foot of the mountains. .
I went to the Twilight Market at the Lourensford Wine Estate and it was very nice. They put a lot of effort in the decorations. Everything was full of light's and it looked very beautiful. Definitely the best place to go to in the Helderberg, to get back to normality in a simply glorious setting. Love the coffee shop. Great coffee and cheesecake and so much more on offer.
