They were able to let me grab the books I needed so I didn't have to stand in line again (Even through they said they would hold my books for me when I was there less than a week prior to this year's visit ) Aside from that, they have pretty neat deals. Last Semester I was able to buy a gaming headset with free ear buds from the same company.

Just had my second reading with Tom in the past 3 months and he's as good as he was the first time. I love that he is very well in tune with the astrological part of everything going on. It allows me to make better sense of what I'm dealing with. His previous reading was accurate when it comes to outcomes and consistent with the 2nd one I had.

Oh boy, I spent a long time here! And took home 8 new (to me) books. You really can't beat the prices, and as I wasn't looking for anything in particular I was really pleased withy selections. A lot of the books are retired library books, but none of the ones I picked had stickers on them. Give me a couple months to read today's plunder, and I'll be back!

I don't understand why people give this place anything above 1 star. They do not buy books back from classes that are tought everyone semester. The manager & his minions DO not care. I encourage everyone to fo to the class your book is needed and sell it directly to the students.

I have found a great place for my watch needs, he is honest and truly cares for your watch.

I have brought many watches here and once my watch did not need a battery, something was off on the watch and he was honest to tell me he will not charge me as my watch did not need anything. I was shocked, and have come back many times since.

Great honest guy, and fixes it right away in person. Prices are great.

Ahhhh, City Lights! Classic indie bookstore and San Francisco gem. Tucked away in Chinatown amidst a spectacle of neighboring night clubs, bars, trendy coffee shops and eats. It's perfectly grungy yet hip enough to satisfy any book lover's dream. What makes this spot so special? The history hidden behind City Lights and what makes it such a historical landmark.

Jack Kerouac, leader of the Beat Generation who inspired so many greats within the American literary, music and culture scenes has a spot dedicated to him right here... In Jack Kerouac Alley. The Beats, or "Beatniks" owe it to him, and the poetry room and zine sections in City Lights lay testament to that budding revolutionary, independent voices that make this shop a classic stop.

I've only ever spent a few wanderings in here while in the area, but I can easily see what's to love about this store. You can get lost for hours in such a tiny spot... And that's the most important part.
