We were promised the confirmation of termination twice. 1x electronically within an account and 1x by telephone with an employee. In the latter case, we were also promised a refund of the credit. Unfortunately, we have not received either. It seems that the SBB has long ceased to be a yardstick for the usual quality standard.
Ideally located at Wankdorf train station. Accessible by train and bus
Disturbance between sbb-bern and bls-bern-wankdorf station, but only bls-s-trains run
No shuttle train from Bern to Olten
Best train in europe? Was once about 20 years ago!
DB is more punctual for the route!
0 stars is unfortunately not possible!
340 chf per month and daily only the floor is available as a seat
Price / performance ratio for nothing, you still sit around on the trains in 2020 without wifi! No decent toilets. I do not understand!
I've been a customer at the SBB for a long time, more specifically, I own a annual subscription for over 3 years and always paid on time, but I got a bus twice early in the year because the checkers' device invalidated my subscription, even though it was not until after the Sbb app one month later, has indicated. On the phone, people have no understanding and are not even helpful. Recommend everyone to avoid the services of the Sbb, one may have for such prices some higher claims with which the SBB can not cope.
Globally punctual network trains that are late are certainly frequent but delays are maximum 10 minutes.
Today I drove from Bern main station with a new mit to Langenthal! I had to find out that these cars are the finest. I hope that other passengers see it that way too!
There is fog in the plains, many Zurichers want to enjoy the sun in the mountains. Thus, we are with many others on track 9, at 8:37, boarded the train. Unfortunately, no seats were found. Hundreds remained on the ground. For the luggage one searches in vain for a storage area. The shelves above the seats are a joke. The train crunches and rattles throughout the ride. It pulls unpleasantly through the whole train. Is this a ventilation? An impudence these new double-decker trains, or just ridiculous what the SBB has purchased. Incredible. At least the old Intercity was much more pleasant on the way home. Too bad. In the future, I will take the car again to drive into the mountains.
Bad service at high prices, unfriendly customer service I've ever experienced in Switzerland.
In my opinion, the federal railways demand pharmacy prices for their services, but shining with ever poorer public service and a rail network in miserable condition and new rolling stock that does not work and have an unscrupulous lawyer as a CEO, which exhausts at the expense of taxpayers .... ....
The delays pile up, originally punctual trains are daily in front of the station Bern and wait for release to the entrance, so that these too arrive with delay - what is going on SBB? That went better a year ago
From my point of view, the so-called summer construction site timetables should be titled "SBB savings timetables". Why?
Due to the warming of the climate, in my opinion it is completely irrational and incomprehensible to carry out the infrastructure and maintenance work on the tracks during the hot summer months. Why not do this work in spring or autumn when it is cooler? Why do you exercise yourself in addition to the climatic heat (melted track core at hotspots like in Wankdorf) and weaken the fragile infrastructure even further? Is it the summer vacation? What are the reasons?
In my opinion, it is not only infrastructure construction sites that destabilize SBB trains during the summer economy schedule, but also significantly fewer staff (in summer there are far fewer ticket controls by train escorts than usual). Sometimes you are not checked for days.
All of this not only leads to delayed tsunamis, but trains are regularly canceled. Are we honest with ourselves and the SBB, commuting at peak times (travelers) and saving and building during heat and cold (SBB) can lead to system failures.
My thanks go to the SBB staff, the employees and the travelers, who ironed out the situation in an exemplary manner to a certain extent and accepted the situation.
The best public transport in the world ...
... also cost money.
Modern office building. Downstairs has a restaurant which is open during the week and serves reasonably priced food.
Sad record yesterday, two failures on the journey from Zurich to Basel. The train to Basel 16.00 did not appear on the Peron, because of technical problems. The alternative 16.08 with the Regio Dosto to Basel remained stuck in Aaarau because of technical problems.
EASYRIDE, absolute impudence, neither SBB nor Easyride react to wrong calculation, NEVER MORE !! Registered letter would be more expensive !!
Management of the main railway company in Switzerland
Completely crowded trains, overpriced prices. Train driving is no longer what it used to be. A few years ago I was unfairly bussed, just because after a Velopanne I did not manage to get a ticket for my bicycle. Because I refused to pay the busses, I was even on the first and hopefully the last time in my life operated. Thus, SBB has finally lost a decades-long, loyal customer with GA. Since then, I prefer to swing on the e-bike. Is cheaper and you have so much less trouble ...
Functional workplaces at the SBB Bern Wankdorf headquarters. Two publicly accessible staff canteens.
Headquarters of infrastructure. On the ground floor accessible by everyone there is a restaurant with a choice of 3 menus every day.
Various offices (large room) and meeting rooms with state-of-the-art infrastructure spread over two buildings.
Access only with badge. Visitors contact the receptionist, who arranges pick-up by the desired contact person.
Staff restaurant with two menus (meat and vegetarian, as well as Selbstwahlbuffet).
Nice roof terrace!
Attraction on the forecourt: Huge electronic station clock in retro look, which displays special digital effects at irregular intervals.
+ Savings tickets are great. (1st class mostly cheaper than 2nd class)
Customer service at SBB exists as a department, but that doesn't mean serving the customer.
Anyone expecting solutions here will be disappointed and cheeky.
We were promised the confirmation of termination twice. 1x electronically within an account and 1x by telephone with an employee. In the latter case, we were also promised a refund of the credit. Unfortunately, we have not received either. It seems that the SBB has long ceased to be a yardstick for the usual quality standard.
Do not know any more what I should think of SBB AG in Bern and what not. During my apprenticeship as a logistics assistant around 10 years ago, SBB was still well organized and consequently a showcase company. More
Top modern corporate headquarters of the SBB. The staff are very nice and accommodating. Inquiries are cleared by the reception immediately. Very good employer.
Great place for lunch. Don't laugh but I was close by and dropped in for a bite to eat. Good price and very good quality. SBB sure knows how to keep their people happy.
Waited over one month for a response from the customer service. Then handled very rude. I will avoid this company in the future.
Inflexible and customer-unfriendly! Better to stay on the road, less frustration and hassle and even cheaper with the right vehicle. A cheeky thing what this institution delivers!
Think ecologically and go by train and nothing works. Change three times, arrive three times later than the connecting train has departure time and thus 4h delay on planned 8h travel time. From now on I use my car again. If that's the notorious "Best Public Transport in the World" then I'm crying to the rest of the world.
Why can't the SBB use trains to Zurich Airport where there is space for the suitcases and you can get on the ground and not drag the suitcase up 3 flights of stairs first? It is obvious that when it comes to Zurich Airport, people usually have larger suitcases with them and somehow want to deposit them!
Ticket prices are very expensive in Switzerland. Given these prices, we expect an impeccable service from SBB. And yet, the service offered for this price can be described - at best - as mediocre. Trains are getting More
I did not know that SBB was financially in need as there was unfortunately no money to buy telephone devices for the debt collection department. Communication via email is imprecise and very slow .....
A superb train station of our capital, a lot of restaurants and fashion shops also large areas Coop, Migros.
On two floors tramways and Postbuses in the building.
An ideal station to organize exucrsins: Boats, bus, cable cars ...
Does not go, politically position. It's time for the whole store to be taken over by private investors.
Too expensive .... drive rather than public transport and pollute our environment because you are too expensive ...
SBB provides the great train services in Swiss and as the traveler I have been taken good care by its convenient transportation and comfortable travel experiences !
Worst customer service ever I didn't get a solution or an answer, but they wanted feedback. Since I think the feedback brings as much as my complaint, I'll write everything down here again. It's a shame you can't give 0 stars.
Yesterday I was on the Bern-Murten route and when I was in Kerzers a train failure was reported via loudspeaker and there was nothing on the SBB app why ?! The next train would only be in an hour, because once again no replacement buses were provided! You already pay a lot for the tickets and yet you don't get to send a replacement bus
Too small too crowded with people. Food too expensive. Avoid better if possible.
I avoid the public transport and since today I have one more reason. Thought to go back to Zurich with the SBB. Single ticket for 3 stations - CHF 6.80. The return journey I then with night surcharge of CHF 5.- paid but this must be solved separately although the single bill the note. Very inconvenient. In addition, the SN6 looked like hell. People there are trash cans! Too bad and that for a total of CHF 18.60. Never again!
We wanted to take the train to Winterthur at 20.35 today in Zurich on October 25th, 2020, we pressed the button on the door to open the door and at the same time the train started, obviously the SBB is not able to solve this problem, exactly this problem was because of a reddish accident in the headlines and the SBB promised to solve this problem. But SBB would rather build large properties than devote itself to the problems of train traffic.
