Salt Fork Golf Course

Well maintained course. Buildings on property could use some up keep however.

One of the best golf courses in Ohio! This is truly a diamond in the rough! Nice up kept course with rolling hills, twists and turns that make this a difficult yet enjoyable 18 holes.

The scenery of the golf course is stunning! Many trees and hills that make it awesome! There are carts to use so don't worry. If you try and walk it, you have to be in great shape because it is a workout. Bring many golf balls because you are bound to lose them, unless you are Bubba Watson or Phil Mickelson. The trees and hills make the course gorgeous but rather hard, but I really enjoyed the challenge of the holes' difficulty.

The golf shop was good and they do have a concession place next to the pro shop for drinks and food.

The only drawback to this place was that they did not have a beer cart going around the course selling drinks. Other than that a must to play at for any golfer!

Played at the golf course, fairways were decent but there are some rough spots too. If going for the first time, be prepared for 18 doglegs

The camp ground is like a open field there is no trees or privacy. Which makes no sense because drive 10 to 15 min from the highway through the woods.

Great views. Course in great shape tees, green fairways all in good shape. Plays to the contours of the land around so lots of ups and downs and dogleg left and right. At around 6000 yards very tough with all the elevation changes

Had just stormed so there was not much to do. Unfortunately I was not able to get the full Salt Fork experience.

Terrible staff,terrible service, and they thought that they needed to call the state park officials because we ordered sixbeers between 3 guys!!! Said we were belligerent!!!!...by hole 3!!!! Unbelievable!!!!!

By far the best State Park in the Great State of Ohio.

Spacious campsite, well maintained, great family place. Great fishing.

Some of the greens are very challenging for a nice public golf course. Not a long course, but you do have to manage/shape your shots off the tees. Would play again.

Loved playing at this course. Challenging fairways staff was friendly! Hope to come here again soon!

Great course very long very hilly and very challenging.

Golfers beware! This is a roller coaster with lightning fast greens. Not a long course but there isn't a level lie on the place except for the tee boxes. Great condition overall. Staff was terrific. This one will challenge every facet of your game. Keep the driver in the bag for the most part. Loved it!

Very well taken care of greens and fairway, only complaint would be narrow fairway from almost all 18 holes, almost all of them dogleg. Had a fun time playing though it was worth the challenge even as a okay golfer. Not a single flat green either so putting is a challenge.

Instant favorite of mine. I spent the weekend and after 9 holes called my son a told him he had to come down and play 18 with me the next morning. Great course if you know your club distances and how to club up for elevated greens. True rolling greens. Really fun course.

Awesome course, very technical have to know the yardage on your clubs to hit the windows. Blind shots and dog legs on all par 4 & 5. Par 3 are the only ones you can see the flag. All grass is bagged, no dead grass laying in fairways, greens are fast and smooth. Only level spot you have are from the tee boxes. Way too steep to walk, unless you re young and in great shape. It s a must play if you haven t already.

Seemed like 90% of the holes were dog leg right and uphill. Became boring after 6 holes. Many many bare spots in middle of fairways which should have been ground under repair (except there was no repair going on). Greens were very slow. I guess not too horrible for a state park track.

I stayed in one of the cabins in with my girl friend. Very nice place. The only thing I did not like was the service in the resteraunt at the Lodge. We both walked in around 4 in the afternoon hungry. The hours were clearly posted that they were open. No one was in the Resturaunt eating yet. We were told that we needed to make a reservation because they were to busy, even though the whole place was empty. So we made the reservations they gave us 3 hours later. The resturaunt was packed. Three tables around us with people that arrived after us, got their main course meals around us before we even got our apitizer. As soon as we got out apitizer we got our meal and it took them almost 2 hours to serve us our food. I felt like a second class citizen. So if you are a young couple i do not sudjest eating in the resturaunt the service was horrible. Everywhere else was nice and the cabin was amazing.

Been coming here since I was little and Iove it! The fact that the course is so challanging makes it fun

Extremely challanging course. All severe hills and valleys.

Super nice course, alot of hills and elevation changes. Only down side, it's a dry course.

Love the course, it's a great way to spend an afternoon and the course was very hilly which made it Interesting

This course is in great shape. Course has a great layout and is very well maintained. The greens are excellent and quick. Definitely would recommend this course to anyone! Bring your A game tho, very challenging!

Very fun. Elevated tee shots with challenging approaches. Worth it.
