Salingers Cafe

My partner and I went there this morning for breakfast and coffee. The breakfast was like the coffee, great. Staff very friendly. The building also has an very interesting story too

Stopped here for brunch. Busy but they found us a table by the fire. Perfect pot of tea, lovely coffee and the food was fantastic. Highly recommended

We last visited Salingers 4 years ago and were eager to dine there again. It's a lovely friendly cafe with friendly helpful staff - service is great. The food is outstanding - we loved the pork belly benedict and the mushroom and sage aracini. We finished with the carrot cake and coffee - fortunately we only ordered one slice of cake as we were both completely full. We look forward to another opportunity to dine here.

Great cafe. Had breakfast and the eggs benedict were terrific. Also picked up some flavoured gourmet salt. Good coffee topped up with lovely people.

Unfortunately we can t give Salinger s Cafe more than 5 stars or we would! My wife and I had the best breakfast in the cafe, bacon and eggs and sourdough with avocado and tomato relish.

Do yourself a favour and plan a quick stop at Salinger s Cafe at Great Western, you won t be disappointed!

Absolutely Delicious Food, Great and Friendly staff.
Very clean and well managed place, the cleanest toilet I've seen in a while.
There is also a bee wall that captures the eye of anyone who walks past.
A great place to grab some food after a wine tour, sit down with friends and family and grab a coffee, cake or a bite to eat.

This meal was amazing, particularly after a big hike up hollow mountain. My lamb and haloumi burger was tender and flavourful, and the eggs (all day breakfast!) were soft and fluffy. Also, delicious chips. They were crispy and soft, and very flavourful.
Wish I could go again, but was just passing through great western.

Great place to stop for some lunch. We arrived fairly close to 3pm so were lucky to make it before the kitchen closed, and glad we did. Excellent cake, crispy sweet potato chips, lovely Eggs Benedict and a great Reuben! Very friendly staff too. Hope to come back soon.

Great coffee with a good selection of food. Can be booked for evening functions. The staff are friendly and helpful

We arrived just in time for a late lunch at 2:40pm as the kitchen closes as 3pm. We had a steak sandwich and a fried chicken burger which were both juicy and deliciously buttery. The iced coffee was even better. Everyone was lovely and I look forward to coming back.
