I attended a wedding last year which this company did the catering for. There was not enough front of house staff, the ones there were clearly inexperienced with little to no training. Inexplicably they had laid the cutlery the wrong way round. They seemed to have no idea about how much food was due to go each table which resulted in a chaotic service.

The food was bland and in some cases undercooked. Thankfully the hotdogs served in the evening were decent enough as most people were very hungry I imagine however it didn t make up for the terrible food earlier on in the day.

The Rub obviously do some decent street food as indicated by some of their reviews however for this wedding they got it badly wrong I m afraid.

If zero stars was an option then zero stars would have been award. They did the catering for some good friend's wedding. Sub standard food, not enough portions for the number of people at each table and the service had somewhat of a "scatter gun approach to it" . AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Last summer I attended a wedding,where the catering was provided by this company.The food provided was mediocre at best.There was nowhere near enough food to go round.The serving of the food was chaotic to say the least.Some of the guests had to help out the waiting staff.I certainly would not recommend this company for a wedding

We used The Rub BBQ for our wedding recently and they were fantastic!

We met with Harp to plan our perfect menu and he was full of helpful advice and guidance throughout the process.

On the day, Harp and his wonderful team had to struggle against strong winds and rain but still managed to deliver excellent food and always with a smile.

I have used the Rub BBQ for two parties now and would highly recommend! Harp designs the menu each time and will always happily caters for different dietary requirements whether thats gluten free, vegan or vegetarian. My favourite food would have to be their ribs and my guest comment on them every time. The team are super friendly and feel part of the party. Also they manage to cope with the unpredictable weather that we had at one of the parties. There are always plenty of leftovers to have throughout the night which they leave after they serve! Would book again for a hassle free party.

This firm catered and my friends wedding in the summer. Quality of the food was ok but timing and service was horrendous. Got the salad and sides first and then did not get to the meats until later on. Personal highlight was the waitress walking around serving up steaks to the brides fathers table on the middle of his speech!

We had The Rub BBQ cater our wedding in August 2019 and we have to say the food and service was exceptional. Great selection of dishes for everyone one including vegans (my wife). I would not hesitate to recommend using them.

Attended a wedding in the summer where The Rub had catered. The food quality was poor, the portions were small, the service was slow and was completely unacceptable for a wedding. Wouldn't normally leave a review but heard that they have very arrogantly dismissed any complaints from the wedding couple who's day was partially spoilt by this. Anyone looking to hire The Rub for a wedding, and reading this review... take your business elsewhere, it's the best advice you could receive.

Would like to also add that reviews have been blocked on Facebook, and since a few guest have posted negatively on here there have been a few accounts now praising them, have to question the authenticity of this - cannot see many people coming online 5 months after attending a wedding to leave a good review.

I would advise that if you need good online reviews for your business, i would suggest making your clients happy in the first place - fortunately word of mouth is something that you will not be able to delete or block.

I frequent this superb place from time to time as I like the good mood that is characterizes this restaurant. The crew is exceptionally attentive and skilfull. The service is exceptionally quick. Also, the food they prepare is good. I ate there many times and I was never disappointed. The pay is fair. I recommend this place to all my friends.

I have personally used these guys for my wedding, and my wife's 40th birthday and have to say they were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Great food, friendly staff and some very happy guests. Highly recommend.

If you would like wedding catering where a table of 8 guests are asked to share 3 corn cobettes, 4 slices of halloumi, 6 chicken mini fillets and some dry brisket then this is the company for you

This spot knows how to satisfy their clients. Regularly with a super nice mindset. The food is conveniently priced, constantly tasty and neat.

I have always been a huge fan of BBQ'd foods so having The Rub come out and cater for us was a delight.

Delicious and tender, the large selection of dishes was absolutely perfect. Cannot recommend enough!

We have used these guys for a few of our corporate days now and they always go above and beyond, plus the food is sooo yummy!! Can't wait for our annual summer event in July!

I eat in this spot a lot since I work nearby. I love how the service is always excellent and they keep the spot well kept consistently. Prices are reasonable and they serve large portions.

This is clearly one of the most attractive place to eat in the region. Always when I come there I am deeply satisfied. They maintain their very high level service and the topmost level of dishes they offer. You definitely will enjoy this this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Has to be the best street food in MK! Hard to choose which is my favourite food but ribs and Hot Dogs are up there! Also the homemade sauces are amazing - when are you going to start selling them!?! Only downside it is winter and I will need to wait until Spring to get your yummy food!!

We have used this company on several occasions for corporate events.
The team are always professional, food is cooked fresh, tasty and ready on time. There is plenty of choice and guests have enough to go back for seconds sometimes thirds and there's always something for our staff to enjoy too. We highly recommend these guys and will continue to use and support in the future :)

Used recently for a local corporate event. Great communication, arrived on time and served some very tasty food to our hungry workforce. We have already booked them for our summer bash!

Lucky to get 1 star! Avoid this company like the plague.

I have worked in hospitality and the food was substandard, a lower quantity than agreed (by far), the food was not even what had been chosen in the original meeting, timing was poor and worst of all the owners manners and lack of acceptance that things did not go to plan or even get close.

Harp and the team at The Rub BBQ catered for my 40th Birthday party. Together, we planned a Mexican-themed menu and on the day, the team were prompt and served guests canapes on arrival.
Despite the cold weather and driving rain, they produced a fantastic menu with a Mexican theme, served with big smiles. I Highly recommend the Chili Beef Tacos!
All the guests were impressed at the quality of the flavours and we would certainly use them again.
