Our family has rented kayaks several times from here in order to get a bit closer to the seals bathing on the floating piles of logs in the summer. The staff has always been helpful and professional and their instruction was clear and simple. The equipment is in great condition and the pricing is reasonable! I especially recommend this activity for families!

Staff there are amazing. Lessons are incredibly helpful and well taught. I was new to kayaking and felt very comfortable with the instructors. I got my stuff stuck in a locker and the staff worked with me to help resolve the situation. Really an awesome team they've got.

Calm ocean water - great for beginners! There don't seem any jet skiers around that can stir up waves. I have tried many spots in the lower mainland and BC interior but this is the spot I get the most paddling with the best price too. The water is not so clean - it motivates you to not fall into it.

Recently went here for a work function. The instructors were extremely informative and helpful, making the whole process very straightforward and enjoyable.

While I didnt have to pay for my kayak trip, the rates are very reasonable, and are well worth the very peaceful and scenic kayak ride that awaits you in and around the rocky point area. Definitely recommend this.

The staff here are really helpful and fair. I was here twice. The first time I book a kayak not knowing that you needed some course in order to kayak solo and they were able to find me a paddleboat instead so I could go into the water with my friends. The second time it was raining and they allowed me to cancel my reservation with no penalty due to the weather. The staff here also explain how to paddle if you're a first-timer and where to go.

Prices are fair and had nice kayaks for rental (they also offer other rentals ie: paddle boards and canoes). Staff was friendly. Only complaint is their online rental agreement you sign on the iPad lags a lot and can barely take a signature. Took me 30 seconds to sign my name. Told the staff and she told me I just had to go slow... -1 star for that.

These guys were awesome! We turned up without a booking on a busy day and they got us out within an hour! The forms were a little lengthy to fill out but all in all quick process. If you've not kayaked before be aware that there is no induction, it's pretty much off you go, so great for us but something to be aware of! So so so much fun

Found this place after a very disappointing experience at Deep Cove Canoe and Kayak....never looked back. Super friendly and helpful. Have taken all my visitors out to paddle. Staff are always pleasant, courteous and helpful. The moonlight paddle in September was so wonderful, informative and safe. I don't bother going anywhere but here for the past six years. What a find.

Always a great time at Rocky Point! We've been here many times for canoeing and paddle boarding. Its a beautiful inlet and you can usually see seals and jellyfish. Great little ice cream shop and the fish n chips place is amazing!! I moved away from BC but I always make sure to come here when I visit.

Today we had the worst experience with Rocky Point Kayak. This was our first time to go kayaking and we were so happy because it was recommended by a friend. Everything went well until my wife was struggling to pedal because the wind was blowing so hard. Of course no warning from the staff even though we told them This was our first time. My wife and my daughter(4 years old) stranded on the beach area and I was trying to help but I had my son with me, so I went back asking for help. One of the staff was actually getting ready to help my wife, but he said the owner did not agree with this. I was told there would be a "CHARGE" to "HELP SOMEONE". Yes!! a CHARGE to HELP SOMEONE in TROUBLE!!!. This one guy though he said he was off work and volunteered to help my wife. However, the reception desk still wanted to charge me because someone was sent there and I might be charged for damage on the kayak because of my wife STRANDED on the beach. I couldn't believe it. I asked the reception what happened in the past when someone got stranded and all he said it never happened before. Hard to believe!!! Based on my experience, if you struggle from the beginning, might as well stop. Aside from a business, I understand, but from human being point of view. They did not even ask and asking if my wife and daughter were ok. I want to thank you the guy who helped me.

Updated: good thing the owner called me the next day and apologized. I didn't get charged so it's good thing. It seems there is some disconnection between the owner and the employees. Too bad. If you are a beginner try it out first.

super friendly staff and I really appreciated the guy who took his time to review safety and proper usage of the kayaks. just a note - do not kayak or paddleboard on a very windy day, which we did. it turned to be very dangerous. heading back towards the shore was a struggle as we were kayaking against the current. it was also very gloomy. im surprised the kayak rental place didnt call it a day earlier as the weather condition wasn't optimal. FYI, double kayak was 57 dollars total including tax and booking fee

We went for the paddle boarding lesson for the first time on the BC Day long weekend. The instructor, Curtis, was a very friendly but thorough teacher. He made sure everyone was comfortable and confident on the board according to the challenge you want to have. I chose the safest board of course!

The water was calmer towards the end of our lesson but even with the wind it was still manageable. I didn't fall in the water at all so that's a bonus!

Highly recommended for people of all fitness levels! Great way to enjoy the inlet, the scenery and the wildlife. We saw so many seals!

Did the Friday and Saturday Date Night kayak rental for my first time on a kayak. Had a lot of fun despite not being very comfortable in the actual kayak, probably due to me being tall. The water was nice to float around in and wasn't overly crowded or anything. It's a great area to spend your evening in! And had some ice cream from Rocky Point right after as well to top it all off.

The staff was helpful and everything went smoothly. Had an issue with my kayak that I was able to get fixed quickly. Very recommended especially if it's your first time trying out a kayak!

Best place to go paddle boarding, kayaking, or canoeing! A 5 minute paddle away from some friendly seals, and other neat wildlife like eagles and hawks chilling out on the log booms! If you do a day trip you can paddle up the Indian Arm towards deep cove or twin islands. Sweet views!

Excellent experience with all the Rocky Point Kayak staff. When we arrived, the office made changes to accommodate us and at the shore, the other team carried the kayaks down for us, gave safety tips, ideas as to where to go and launched us. They were also there to help us back on shore. I would recommend this to anyone as a lovely way to spend a few hours on the water.

We've been looking around at multiple kayak rental places but no one was able to accommodate due to the new online reservation systems and many weeks in advance already booked.

I called RPK and spoke to Colby who not only was able to find me a spot today for two people, but was able to reserve it without issue despite the fact they were fully booked for the day.

We showed up and the staff were super friendly and professional. The rental was very average priced at $20/hr, with a minimum 2 hr rental. The guide at the boat launch was great as he explained how things worked in the kayak for my sister.

The weather was amazing, the water wasn't that cold, and the current was calm if not seldom.

Overall, great job by everyone. Would recommend to anyone.
