No. I know what is happening but the quality is not the same. I ordered a spinach salad at home and they sent me one with only spinach and mushrooms with the worst presentation I've ever seen. No egg, no tomato, no cheese, no dried fruit. Nothing more annoying than having a craving for hot spicy wings and send you some bittersweet without informing you before sending them that do not have buffalo sauce :(. I'm sorry but it is not acceptable.

We ask to take away, the large portions and well served, they carry very well the hygiene standards regarding the subject COVID 19 the waiter has all his protective equipment and gives you a little explanation they are not yet open to the public that leaves you feeling good

Rock n Java is a tourist eatery on the main drag in Cozumel. Prices aren't bad. We had Caribbean fish tacos. I expected more flavor and definitely more bite. The fish is grilled and along with it in a soft taco are bean sprouts, shredded carrot, a little cheese, and avocado. The tacos are served with Pico de Gallo and sour cream. The also have homemade habanero sauce to add to your taco upon request. Cost was $12 US. The mojitos were very good and cost $8 US. The atmosphere is friendly and the wait staff attentive. Located neat one of the cruise ship docks and offers FREE WIFI...a real plus for those of us who won't pay the exorbitant cost for spotty Wi-Fi onboard. I gave it 4 stars because if the lack of flavor and spiciness in the tacos. Perfect for gringos who don't like to get their palettes burned!

We met a couple here for dinner. We had the wedge salad, fajitas, and apple pie a la mode.

The wedge salad was the largest I have ever encountered, approximately half a head of lettuce with tons of bacon and tomatoes. The blue cheese dressing was a little tart for my taste, but still very tasty.

The fajitas were what you would expect, nothing to rave about, but still good.

The apple pie a la mode was my favorite part.... The slice was huge, with fresh apples, not overly sweet and delicious crust, which normally I am not a fan of.

The ambiance is that of an upscale sports bar, with a very large TV.

The bad
- everything tastes like it was in the freezer
- the carajillo was not rocking. It was 4 rocks of ice, splash of java, and a lot of 43. Avoid the cocktails.
- tried the restaurant twice because of the reviews, but detested both occasions.
- I consider this to be a Cheesecake Factory with worse service. See beligerent comments from owner below.

The good
- gringos like the place?

We had food delivered twice from Rock 'n Java during our vacation, both times were fantastic! Response time was excellent and delivery unbelievably quick and efficient. The whole process was seamless and I highly recommend these guys. Thanks so much, we were a large hungry bunch!

ALL of the food in Cozumel is surprising good. But if you are missing a classic american breakfast (that's what I got, the Mexican breakfast is great too) this place just really does it so well. My wife got the scrambled tofu (yuk) and she was so impressed that it came with nutritional yeast on top (double yuk). Im guessing this was a good thing. My "rocking java breakfast" was really done properly. And I was a breakfast cook at Magnolia's in Austin for many years.

To tell you it is only the food would be wrong. The food is great and all the portions are large. It is the service that always sets this place above all others. The management has train this team to perfection and it shows. Try their deserts if you really want to be blown away.
