Read your proposal from them very carefully. I sent Milestone an RFP for building our website and discussed the specifics multiple times with 2 sales reps on the phone. We chose them only to find out they had not included all our requests from the RFP, nor items I had personally discussed with the sales staff, in their pricing. All those items were to cost extra money. Their creative team was also unwilling to include a layout request we had for our interior pages.
Their customer service also leaves much to be desired. 5 people including their "customer service manager" assured me they would get back to me within a timeframe that they did not. It took multiple phone calls from me, and weeks of time waiting, to get answers. Gratefully, was able to cancel our contract with them but they kept our 50% deposit for "all the work they had already done for our site". I owed them some money for the initial creative work, but not $11,500. However, it was worth it to not be tied to this company for hosting and maintaining our web site for years to come. Before you climb into bed with this company, make sure you know what you are getting into.
