Remo Software

Had a problem with Remo Optimizer software. Sent email over the weekend and received a swift reply with instructions that helped solve the problem.

They are great. I am not so tech savvy. They talked with me on a Sunday via chat. Monday morning they chat with me from ticket to see if I was able to get the photos. I was not able. They came into my system. I found out that I was one step away from finishing. They showed me how to do it and stayed with a dummy to technology until I understood

PC speed has improved dramatically since installing and using the product.

Quick download, registration with a small delay, product is easy to handle and self-explanatory. Excellent tool to work with.

I had downloaded and registered the Optimizer software. Later my hard drive crashed so I replace it. Needed to reinstall the software but had lost correspondence. A trouble ticket was submitted, I got a response within minutes. i followed the steps provided and I'm back in business. Good customer support. Fast response.

Thank you Remo Software for getting me to update my Microsoft Office. It has sorted a problem that has been bugging me for a few months.

I downloaded and purchased the recovery software based upon Remo's claims and online reviews. Unfortunately Remo recovery did not restore my file. Customer service told me to send them the file and they would try. Meanwhile I am on a deadline and rebuild the entire file- 12 hours! Customer service takes 2 days to get back to me saying they were unable to repair the file. I ask for a refund and they go silent. Not a word. I have many friends who value my opinion when it comes to software. i have told them all to beware of Remo!

I had a corrupt disc and needed my files, I tried Remo Recovery and was able to retrieve the files with ease. Even from years that I re-installed software. Great product! Great support when I needed it. Thanks Tim

This was my second time to resort to using the software for windows. USB only offered to 'format' the drive. We always promise ourselves we will only copy the working file once the final save is made on the Destktop...and then paste a working copy to the USB. I broke that rule and worked directly from the USB...which was already fickle.
And, of course, it always happens late at night.
I tried to use Remo for windows software to retrieve the files. I confused myself. So I used the chat option. Within a short few minutes Tim contacted me. Asked a few pertinent questions.
After a brief analysis he politely provided me with the solution. 5 minutes later I had secured a working copy of the file and was able to complete my tasks.

Remo Software did a good job in recovering my emails on Outlook Express and have been very responsive and helpful in solving the problem. My Outlook Express refused to open and all emails were blocked-so I could not either receive or send any email. Used my cell-phone as alternative email destination to contact them and they sorted the problem out with very timely responses and chatting sessions. As a service company their performance is commendable.

This program solved my problem and Outlook is working once again! I had to have help from one of the techs because I know very little about the inner workings of computer, but he was very helpful.

Excellent software that allowed me to recover my data on a drive that developed a damaged partition and folder/file structure. Due to the nature of the damage software was required to actually scan and recreate the files from the data and not from the directory tree. Remo Software did this job admirable. The end user support was excellent as the support personnel really took an interest in helping me to recover the data and were very knowledgeable about their software. I would highly recommend this software and company to anyone that is dealing with a damaged drive/partition and needed to recover the files. This company saved me from a huge disaster! This software saved my life.
I had lost a 22GB Pst file of on of employees in the company and this software has recovered 100% of it, even after re-imaged the Hard Drive. For me was a miracle!! I had to purchase the Pro Version for that but it worth. Thanks for the support, the guys there are very helpful!!

The problem that I am having is Windows 10 64-bit version 1704 update F**** up my system really bad! I lost my D drive (it turned into RAW), and backup stopped working. (Apparently Microsoft is working on a patch that will fix the problem I am having... -- we'll see.)

So after 2 weeks of back and forth trying to fix this problem I decided to give Remo Recover a try, and it worked -- somewhat. EasyRE did not work at all in comparison.

Fortunately I had a 2 week old backup of my D drive. (I keep all my data on my D drive.) So now I had something to compare the recovery to. After running Remo PRO Recover I was able to copy my data from the RAW partition to a new place.

The Verdict:
Comparing the recovered files to the backup, I found

- backup total file count: 336,406
- recovered total file count: 294,368

- Identical: 42,038
- Different: 142,166

- Unique recovered: 13
- Unique backup: 152,189

So Remo did not find all my files -- it missed a lot of them, and only about 12% are identical.

Remo Optimizer. Excellent product, gets rid of a lot of dead weight in your computer. Very happy with it .... :)

Easy to use. It can detect some issues that Norton does not.

Great piece of software from Remo, simple, easy to use and powerful tool. Definitely worth paying the small fee for the full license and beats any of the freeware equivalents out there, believe me I've tried many. Excellent customer service too.

I can't find words to say how chuffed I am with Remo Recover. Like an idiot I managed to accidentally delete a file on which I'd spent literally years of work, on and off. I thought it was gone forever, along with my backup, which I'd also deleted through unfamiliarity with a new Windows installation.
I just could not believe it when, with patient help from Nick Bryan of Remo, I got it back. Huzza! Huzza!

Using the demo I was able to recover all files from a formatted external hard drive. However, upon saving the files, each time it would get to a bad or corrupted file/sector on the external drive, it would stop with the message that it saved successfully. With hundreds of thousands of files, I would need to find where the saving stopped, and continue from there. It would take weeks and weeks to go through that process. I contacted support and they said they would put their development team on it. 18 days later I was helped by a developer, who clearly did not spend two weeks delving into the matter, since he asked what the problem was, to refresh him since he read it earlier but could not remember everything. At $179 for the product you would expect better customer service and support. The developer fixed the bug in probably less than 30mins and I was ultimately able to recover all my files. Their customer support service leaves much to be desired. (1) They would ask me to email them an hour before I'm ready for them to remote into my computer, and then often I would not hear back for hours, or a day! As a professional myself I would expect a formal appointment time. (2) I would not receive any detailed update from their end, other than "we're working on it" (3) The time for a developer to work on this is unacceptable, especially at the price paid for the software and it not working as advertised - surely they have encountered bad sectors on external drives before? After providing my feedback on their support I did not get an apology but simply a statement that my experience is not normal and they will rectify this in the near future. If the product worked the first time and I recovered my files they likely would have gotten a 4 or 5 star rating. I rate them at 2 stars because my experience with their support was poor. The product worked, but ultimately your product is only as good as your support.

Remo Software is an on the ball aid in trying to help you out and thinking along retrieving your data.
They were quick to react on my problem securing videodata on SxS card.
Although unsuccesfull in my case because of Sony's thorough in camera formatting, I do appreciate Remo Software fast response to my emails and their problem solving suggestions.

The software wasn't as user intuitive as I would like, but the customer service access and follow-up made up for any issues.

Great Help I'm old and technologically challenged. When I contacted Remo, they went the extra mile to help me even though I didn't have the product code or any idea what the problem was. Malwarebytes updated their software and eliminated a program that I had purchased, the Remo Optimizer., and then identified it when I tried to reinstal as a PUP and quarantined it. I contacted the Optimizer folks and actually had several promptly respond. The most helpful was Tim White. He took me step by step on how deal with Malwarebytes, and then stuck with me until I was able to reinstall the program. He was very patient which was exceptional, because someone that good with computers must have been very frustrated at my lack of expertise> Good folks and by the way, really nice Program

Had a USB flash/thumb drive that no longer showed in My Computer, Disk Management or even Device Manager. I had valuable data on it. I had made a backup in January but that was not recent enough as a few important files I had updated and saved them since then. Tried other software from other vendors but none of them were able to see the now 'invisible' drive. Remo found all the files on the stick and recovered all but a couple, which were not important ones. Also it started showing up again so I was able to do a Quick Format on it and am now using it again!

I absolutely found this product to be a lifesaver when it comes to Windows 10 updates that seem to dump junk files and error's every time I am FORCED to take them. I've had to roll my laptop back 7 times and each time Remo Optimizer support helped me reinstall and get things up and running again. I highly recommend it, and so glad I discovered this fix!

Having acidentally deleted a huge number of folders in Windows 10 I sought help from Remo Software. I downloaded their file recovery program which has very clear instructions. This quickly instantly produced a list of the deleted folders and files. Nick and Matt gave me very prompt and detailed email assistance to restore the files to the hard drive. I recommend this system to anyone wishing to recover files. WM 10 Jan 2017.

I just purchased this software and it seems to be easy to use and works as advertised. I had a little trouble activating the software but the support team (John, Tim and Matt) answered my queries promptly (even in the middle of the night here in the US!) and their suggestion of copying and pasting in the license key solved the activation problem. John also gave me a tip that solved a specific problem I was having in printing from Microsoft Outlook 2010.

This afternoon, I purchased Remo Optimizer. After I purchased it, i didn't know how to activate it. I went for help and found Matt in the chat room. he was terrific. He was very patient with me, which I appreciate. He gave me very good directions that were easy to follow, which I appreciate. My computer is running very well, now. Having purchased Remo, I had difficulty registering and thus getting the software to start working. However, the team at Remo were very helpful in getting me registered and thus my laptop cleaned.

I normally do not praise a particular product, but at this time I feel I must.
About a year ago my laptop was locking up six or more times a day. I subscribed to Remo and a tech came into my computer a cleaned it up.

As everyone knows, no matter what you do junk still gets back into the computer. Remo has a program called Optimizer that I have been using. The repaired computer started acting up about two moths ago and based on what I read from Remo, if you fully utilize the Optimizer it will correct most problems. I can honestly say IT DID. I had it downloaded but I never fully utilized it. That laptop has had no issues over the last week. I just downloaded Optimizer on another laptop that I just purchased. This laptop is small and it will be the one take with me outside my home. This is my Remo experience and I hope others find it useful.

I lost almost 800 pics of my family vacation which were stored on my camera SD card. Thanks to Remo Recover Media Edition, it recovered all of them for me. I tried many recovery program, but they charged me more than $100. For Remo Media edition I paid only $49.95.... I wanna thank Remo guys for developing such a beneficial product and that too within manageable budget....Remo Rocks for me!!! I should have downloaded it earlier and save my time.

Initially thought I had been duped by the program as my activation code did not work. Contacted support and had a response within minutes who gave me my activation code in no time. Ran the program and found all my lost files. It would be helpful if you could recover files by date lost only thus saving you time trawling through many files but other than that impressed and glad I got my files back. Simple to use but it is helpful to watch the clip online first. A very good product indeed thanks Remo!

After trying EaseUS and received disappointed result, I decided to spend on Remo. I didnt regret this decision. Prompt reply from beginning, even if you havent decided to purchase the software yet. Several options to restore, in my case, Recovery Partition recovered all the media files and other docs. incl, the folder structure. Highly recommended software.

Remo went the distance for me! I had a corrupt MP4 file which I could only partially recover using Remo Repair MOV. I contacted support with my issue. They were very responsive, and able to fully recover the MP4, which was a huge relief to me, as it was a helmet cam video of coached laps in a pretty special car at Circuit of the Americas (see pic from recovered video).

Just had to clean reinstall Win10 on my laptop to resolve Windows issues which wiped out all my programs. Remo would not reactivate after a new installation. Remo Product Support was great in their communication with me and in providing a non-intuitive approach to getting the program to finally accept the registration key. They also kindly reactivated the key for me after my many attempts had rendered it inoperative. Thank you very much Remo.

Remo recovery save my life TWO TIMES!... You just never know what's gonna happened with your works, your research data , in your hand drive. I had a problem in 2012, with my hard drive due to a power failure in my house. My data was crash. So, I bought remo recovery software in 2012. It recovers almost 100% of my data. It is a miracle. In the last 3 weeks I got problem again with almost 1,34 GByte data. You can imagine loosing 2 years work on research. I still remember that I had my remo recovery software that save me before. With the full support of remo software I re-installed the software in my new laptop and I can get back data 100%. Thank you remo for your great support.

Several different Remo people recently gave me technical support while I was learning to use Remo Recover. (I needed to recover files from an external hard drive which had become corrupted and wouldn't mount properly.) Everyone concerned proved detailed and clear help, very promptly, and were extremely patient with my questions. Although Remo instructions are mostly very clear, there were several things I did not understand because I was new to this, and I therefore needed help at several different points during my efforts to do the recovery. In addition, problems arose with my recovery due to a brief power outage in my house. In the end I was able to make a successful recovery of all my files (over 80 Gb) on the corrupted hard drive and saved them to another drive. I was impressed that all my files proved to be recoverable.

I have been around personal computers since 1980, when they were first introduced. The first PC I worked with was a Radio Shack TRS-80-1, which had no internal memory; you saved your programs to a cassette tape. I worked with personal computer software in some capacity from the early 1980's. After I retired I continued to use my laptop daily, and I rely on it a great deal. When I tried the Remo Optimizer free version, I was very impressed with its performance, and purchased the full version. Now comes the rub -- I could not get the full version to load on my PC. An hour on the phone with technical support did not help. I was ready to give up, but Technical Service was not! Through unfailing patience (even as I grew more frustrated), they attempted several times to access my PC long distance and find an answer. Because they never quit, they were finally able to access my PC and successfully load the software for me. I have nothing but praise for these gentlemen, they never gave up; on my problem, and now I'm a very satisfied customer! I highly recommend the support department of this company.

On line chat was very helpful with instructions. My files are downloading now so I'm not sure if the software recovered what I need yet but the assistance is really good.

I highly recommend this software and especially the customer support team (specifically Matt and Tim) for addressing my problem. I wanted to migrate my Outlook 2013 from a Windows 7 laptop to a new Windows 10 laptop with Office 365 (Outlook 2016). I had no problem backing up the Outlook 2013 but I continued to receive an error when trying to migrate to Win 10, Office 365. In less than 24 hours the support team custom configured the software for me and I had no problem migrating Outlook which took me about 15 minutes from backup to migrate. I am very pleased with the result. One could make the point that there should not have been the problem in the first place, but as a programmer myself, I understand that the various configurations pose a challenge. What impressed me was how quickly and professionally the problem was addressed and solved.

Purchased Remo Optimizer in order to solve a problem with Windows 10 Update hanging up on downloads and never completing the update. I ran Optimizer and it did not work. Then I contacted Remo support and they downloaded another program that I ran and it worked very well, solving the initial problem. Remo support responded almost immediately to my request. Remo Optimizer also uncovered many problems with my registry that could potentially interfere with the proper operation of Windows 10.
