Wow! Our first time at this restaurant and we will make it a point to get back! The only other salsa I've had that matches RMG Is one my sister makes herself and it is delicious! We had the pineapple casadilla...oh my goodness...it was GREAT! Can't wait to try more of their food. Employees on the ball and manager walking the floor.

Food was not food (this is not a Mexican restaurant by any means) no one in our group finished their meal ( a group of 9- including 3 small children) our waitress was not very good and it took 10-15 minutes for her to return with change for 3 of the checks( while our husband's had to take the fidgety kids outside due to the long waits for food, bills, and change)! We were less then impressed. And the quac. was awefull!!

This place has phenomenal food! I got the Combo Fajita and it had to be one of my favorite fajitas I've ever had. Also the portion sizes were pretty good too. I can eat a ton. Bert and Logan were terrific servers. It's a little more pricey BUT definitely worth it!!

Service was great, very friendly and attentive. Kids (ages 2, 9 and 12) enjoyed eating there and had fun with the little bag of goodies they received to keep them occupied. Everything is made in house (probably a couple exceptions on the kids menu) so it was easy to address any dietary restriction we might have. A little dimly lit but not a problem for us.

Always a fun favorite when visiting Traverse City! Our latest visit last Tuesday was the perfect start to our summer vacation with so many choices on the menu and excellent service by our server Autumn. My spicy beef taco was outstanding as was my husband's jack-stuffed shrimp. And of course my favorite libation the Missy Margarita! We have been stopping by the TC Red Mesa for years and have never been disappointed!

Food was good but services was terrible, my wife and I expected quick food. It took about 20 minutes to get our first drinks and an hour to get our food. Every time we asked for a new drink we would be waiting about ten minutes then told "your drink is on the way" we learned to ask for drinks in advance due to the wait. When we finally asked for boxes we had waited about about 10 minutes until we went to the manager and asked if we could have boxes. We were there for on hour and a half and only ordered a salad and the fajita combo.

Excellent service and food. Will make sure someone with dietary restrictions, intolerances or allergies still gets lovely food. I highly recommend plain pulled pork on a bed of lettuce with their homemade corn chips. It s not in the menu, but it is gluten free & FODMAP friendly, and utterly delicious. I ve done that three separate occasions.
Waitress Becky was attentive and wonderful.

My family and I were here about a week ago on a vacation and this place rocks. The food was so good. I also had a mango and a strawberry margarita and they were delicious. Even the decor of the restaurant was crazy eye candy. Our waitress was a little rock star named Autumn and she was amazing. She was kind, sweet, and funny. I had a great experience and u will too. Go go go

We went for Cinco de Mayo last night and it was awesome. We had to wait to get in, but when I told the hostess they had missed us in their system then sat us right away. The food was great. I had the smoked chicken and black bean burrito , the men had the enchilada platter, and Joan had the stuffed plabano. Every enjoyed the food. There was entertainment. Music and a balloon man that made hats for all! A great time. We will be there again.

Mexican food was not first on my list in Traverse but we wound up having a pretty solid lunch here. The food is fairly straight forward Mexican faire with a little extra gloss. Street tacos and then burritos were pretty good. If you're a fan of Mexican - this place won't disappoint

RED MESA GRILL

When we arrived, Mexican culture and food scents overwhelmed me. I felt that it was a very family friendly restaurant and had delicious food. Our food didn t arrive much longer than we ordered which is great if you bring kids, impatient friends, or family. The service was very incredible and fast.

Our server went above and beyond with a great smile and personality. Even coming in kinda late he didn't treat us like lepers the pork ribeye is better than i even thought it was going to be, the scrumptious and mouthwatering flavor will leave you feeling satisfied and then some!

The margarita's are excellent as advertised on their menu. I had the pomegranate marg and hot diggity dog was it good. I also had the steak and black bean burrito but i was less than thrilled with it, not because the quality was not up to standards, it had excellent flavor I'm just not a fan of burrito's covered in sauces. All around a top notch place to get a drink and some grub!

My girlfriend and I came here one evening for dinner, but when we got there it about an hour to close. It was packed and you could tell the staff was already drained. We grabbed a seat at the bar so we could be quick, but the bartender had to deal with the struggling waitresses and waiters. He himself seemed very comfortable with the pressure and handled it as best he could. The other employees did not cope well at all. They were very vocal about complaining about the guests and other employees. Initially it was going to be a 4 star review taking into account the time and situation, but the drama was a bit much for me to be able to relax. The food was good and so were the draft beers. I do recommend this place as long as you go in the middle of the day. Cheers!
