Hello, I love this water park, but on Sunday, September 15, I attended the place with my family due to problems with their coupons. I had to buy twice, they had to make the refund of two tickets and after more than a week said refund didn't has arrived and when I try to call the place or answer, I feel that I have been scammed
dude i had the best experience ever on my class fieldtrip.Black Thunder is the best. but then, all of rapid's is THE BEST.I suggest all who read this go there when you have the chance.so going there again
Most of the rides are nice but their staff is a bit raceest went to get on a ride and was singled out for my weight now I wasn't mad about the weight but the guy in front of me getting on the ride was taller and fatter than me but I was the only non white person in the line. Not to mention I'm 5 lbs over the limit. Not to mention the only other person turned away was a black guy who when in line I thought they just didn't want to go but I see why they were mad now.
Great place to go with the kiddies on summer break. They even have a picnic area to leave a cooler with snacks in it so you don't really have to buy from the concession stands. Stay away from the funnel cakes though, they taste horrible. The funnel cakes are doughy, chewy, and taste like old grease. I also suggest just waiting out the rain if it rains. The staff are really just concerned about the thunder and lightning. No thunder and lightning the rides open back up. People usually leave when it starts to rain which makes the lines shorter!
A spectacular place to spend a day with family and friends. Your throat hurts from screaming so much is amazing.
A unique experience to spend with family or friends excellent attractions beautiful sight and great attention
A fun day. Parking is a mess on the weekends, with lines backing up well out into the road. $10, cash only. The price of admission is pretty steep for what it is, with two people and a locker coming out to ~$120.
The rides are fun and the park well maintained and staffed. Some of the rides definitely showing their age, however, with worn spots and some rusted-through stair sections on some attractions. There re no true drop slides that stay vertical throughout, so hardcore thrill seekers look elsewhere.
The wave pool and lazy river are nice but predictably crowded constantly. Park layout is a bit funky, with sections only reachable across elevated foot bridges. No problems with cleanliness from what I saw.
All in all, maybe not worth the very hefty price tag, but if driving to Orlando or Miami to get out of the heat isn t feasible it s a good option.
I love the place, I think they should saw later in the summer !!!!
I love Rapids only thing is it's expensive but the experience makes up for it all.
I LOVE! the park is super fun, the only thing it has is that the OMG ranks to ride you in 4 attractions the day goes by making lines, everything else super, I really like the river current to rest
Good attractions. Although the river could be more fun
The waterpark itself is Nice But the staff is A whole nother story. The 1st strike was when one of the lifeguard on the black lightning ride kept rushing me to go down the slide 5 seconds after another person got on and the rule is you have to wait at least 30 second before another person , the 2nd strike was when the kitchen staff messed up my order when i specifically said cheeseburger , i checked NO CHEESE ON IT, so i go back to then counter one of the female employees said i cant put cheese it cause my boss said not to, SMH and finally the last strike was when the black female in the front who stamps people if they are coming back inside she gave me an attitude cause she was rushing people to get like Babu check yourself before you wreck yourself.
sooooooo funnn i love the water slides and everything there
I'm bias because I went with my friends. But! I do have to say one thing. I got hurt twice, scraping my knee on the rough floor in the wave pool. My little sister also got hurt twice. All because of the floor of the pools! They're too rough!! Cant they close the park for a day or two so they can, like, sand down the roughness of the pools?
Hands down the best water park in South Florida. Highly recommend a visit. It has rides and pools for all ages.
Its was ok because of Rain the park closed early. The tickets are costly it should come with free parking. We pay $20 for parking.
An unforgettable experience best florida water park
Not good maintenance of water looks clean but may be fluoridated so my kids hair and all of my family hair turned very sticky. I never experienced this anyother water parks like adventure island
Rapids is respectively hands down my favorite place for my family and friends to go have fun at,some of the rides are closed which can't be helped of course because of the pandemic.still there are hand sanitizers everywhere around the park, the employees stay having on there mask and there's markers around showing to stay 6feet apart.other than than that its the place to be and highly recommended.just keep checking the weather before going in,because once your there and the rain falls there's no refunds.
A bit pricey in my opinion. The safety and cleanliness was a bit unnerving. I found a rusty nail that obviously came off a piece of equipment, and an earring with a large pin about a half inch long on the ground. Paint was peeling in many areas. Plenty of lifeguards though.
Terrible experience. After paying 200$ in admission tickets, we were able to enjoy the park just for 1hr. With the sun out and the excruciating heat, they close the rides and pools for weather conditions. Supposedly it was raining 10 Miles away.
So disappointed!!
All good . They must give better maintenance to the facilities
Had an amazing time tho social distancing was clearly not a thing (but not surprised by that.) Not liking lines and all but one slide was open. Drinks over priced but still tested good
It's in florida but I went and it's great it's so big so much to do
Brilliant park cleaner than last time and lots of fun for all ages
We went with a few hours on a day without much sun and got to ride about every ride without any issues. High recommend to go on a slow day. You get to enjoy it.
First the good-- The rides are awesome!
But if you have an aversion to taking a bath with 2000 people, or large crowds in general, or really lousy customer service, go elsewhere.
Rapids allows far too many people in the park at once. The water looks clean but how could it be with that many people swimming at once. Of course, the lines are frustratingly long.
Finally, the customer service is terrible. The staff is slow (physically and mentally). It's not the fault of the small army of teens doing the work; it is the management. They are clueless about customer service and training staff
Horrible place one hour in a row pay two tickets as 115 pesos super high prices el.Parque this very neglected people drinking alcohol, many people in.the place, the best is to go to orlando all the water Park have better condition excellent and better price .
The park has certainly grown over the years. Plenty of fun things for the entire family to do. I wish they had special pricing for Palm Beach County residents, besides the 4PM Sunset Price. Also the food ordering line is extremely slow. I got in line when there was no line and still waited 15 minutes.
I love this place because they have fun water slide
We had a fabulous time at Rapids Water Park
I used the coupons I picked up at McDonald's buy one get one. There wasn't a long wait at all great way to spend a weekend!
I really enjoyed this park! The lazy pool was my favorite place. I went around it for about 4 hours. Very relaxing. I had my little grand baby, he fell asleep which was a bonus. The food inside is ridiculously expensive, so if you come with a group eat outside the park. The wave park was fun. The cabana rental was awesome, they brought the food and drinks to us. The staff was prompt, friendly and efficient! It was 15 of us... every one had a wonderful time! No complaints!!!!!
Came here with my children and it was one of the best experiences in my life! I barely rode anything because I get scared but my children had a blast! one of the best places to go to in the summer.
You have to be under 250 lbs to enjoy the best rides there... I wish they advertise that instead of allowing people to purchase tickets from them and then body shaming them by forcing them to get on a scale to weigh them (in front of everyone there) for a ride. I will NEVER come back to that body shaming place ever again!
Lots of fun for the whole family. The park was very clean with lots of seating in the shade or sun. First water park to offer healthy eating options - the grilled chicken cesar salad was amazing. They also had a fresh fruit stand.
Nice place, very organized, needs to have more food variety!!
Its nice to come here for one time but thats it .
Its kinda of expensive, the food is awful and the rides that realy worth something are 4 or 5 .the other thing that i didnt like was some stupid regulations but as i said earlier for one time its ok !
Everything ok a lot of adrenaline very nice for speed lovers
It passes very rich just comfortable ballan and a good sunscreen
Long lines!!!! Was there 6 hrs, did 2 little slide, flowriderand a brief dip in the sardine river!! Not worth the hefty price!
Love this place... Great done and food while the kids run around and play... Doesn't get better then this...
Love it so much, must get season pass well worth it.
I would like to start out by saying that I have been to water parks over the past 20 years from California to Florida, and many places in between. By far, this is the worst experience I have had. I was at the park for my ten-year-old niece's preplanned birthday party. From the moment we got there we were met with staff, who seem disinterested. The water rides appeared dated, and in need of updating. The grounds had litter, gum and other debris that you would not want to walk on barefoot.
The first water slide me and my kids go on is "Black Thunder." We climb the stairs all the way to the top platform where we met with a ride attendant, who had us get into a raft which is in the water and was next to descend the tunnel. Moments before we are set to go down the tunnel, the ride attendant requested that I get out of the raft and get weighed on an old-fashion scale on the ride platform in front of numerous other people waiting to go on the ride. I was told by the attendant that I look like I may be over the 250-pound limit. I agree to get on the scale (soaking wet) from sitting in the raft, and the attendant tells me I am 252 pounds. I questioned the reading, and the attendant says that I can go down to the office and get weighed on a more accurate digital scale. Keep in mind this was done a few feet from numerous strangers and after I was already allowed on the raft.
I met with two park supervisors, who could only reiterate to me that they have a strict weight policy on six of their ten rides and have their attendants guesstimate weights of patrons before having them get weighed. Interestedly, when I requested the general manager's name so I could contact him/her later in the week, I was told that the general manager's name could not be told to patrons, which I found odd. Needless to say, this is first, and last time my family and I will be going to this waterpark.
So much FUN! Something to do ALL DAY LONG! Lazy river was relaxing and water rides was a adventure. Little bit of something for the whole family. My kids had a blast! The older adults did as well. Definitely a place we will go back to when in town.
Before today I would have given the park 5 stars mostly because I bought the season pass and with going just 2 times you get your moneys worth and more. and I thought it was of great value. Without the season pass, this place is absolutely and ridiculously over priced. When you add the ticket plus the parking plus the locker it is way too pricey. Your best bet is to either buy the annual pass or go when they are running a promotion where you can visit again at a later date (2 visits for the price of one).
However, I recently heard about the Labor Day promotion they are running where if you visit the park Sept 2-4 and purchase a full admission ticket you will get unlimited return passes through the end of October. AKA you get to be a member for less than half the price of a membership. I am disappointed because this makes the "deal" I got seem valueless. I don't think I will continue being an annual member. Instead maybe I will just wait for this promotion next year... seems more worth it! Besides the priciness the place is awesome. I always have a great time with my family.
Good fun. Park shut down twice due to lightning warning. Part of South Florida summer weather. My kids enjoyed the rides. I braved one wild one...many to choose from...great day!!!
Its better than I expected. Nice landscaping fun rides. The food service is terrible. The food is ok but the service is awful.
Exciting and fulfilled experience. The water slides are clean and well supervised by staff ensuring safety amongst the guest.
My first time going there, I had lots of fun! I can't wait to go there again!
This is one the best waterpark experiences I've had. The variety of slides and attractions were ample for everyone in our group which ranged from age 3 to over 40. The 3 year old was only about 38" tall and there were still about 10 slides to ride.
Rapids Water Park is the best water park ever in the world
To much waiting for the food bad it ahould be in and out
It is wonderful, excellent service, beautiful gardening and installation with a lot of comfort
I have Been here since I was 5 it was awesome the life guardes are nice ! I went on spring break again and it was sweet and and I'm 10 and now I'm going again on wendsday ! It was awesome and I love the pirate plunge it was sweet !! And if u weight 250 pounds they don't take u out of the line they give u a wristband !
Though the rides can be fun, I can't believe that they have a scale at each ride to HUMILIATE people! I watched this young lady, about 5' ft/ 150 lbs. told to get on the scale!!! The funny thing is she'd been riding rides all day with no problem!! I told her to get a lawyer!!!! Why don't they do this at the beginning of the day??
Next, there were no lines this day, but the lines didn't move on 3 of the rides due to lack of enough tubes! We were literally waiting minutes between riders waiting for the tubes to come up. When I asked, I was told that the tubes either popped or deflated!! After all this money, they can't replace the tubes??
I love this place I've been a few times and have had a lot of fun.
The park has many attractions and is a good place to spend the day with the family. But, if the weather deteriorates, they close the park and everyone has to leave and that is reasonable, but in the waiting area there are no bathrooms, the staff does not have useful information for users, such as weather forecast, money refund, What about people who bought tickets in other places outside the park. The guy at the entrance couldn't answer a single one of our questions.
We went early at 10 and got on every ride gets super busy around 11:30 noon.
Love it, only cretic is that sometime in sides the water looks kinda dirty
The park is ok on weekdays because weekends are overcrowded. Please check the weather before going because if there's lightning or inclement weather and they take everyone out of the pool, you'd have to be out a whole 3 hours in order for them to even consider giving you a rain check. Otherwise, you lose the Money you paid to get in.
When I went there my all the rides were fire but the food was were the real fire Was after I had one of the beef burger My stomach had a 12 round boxing match on the toilet. :(
