They are doing work super slow and unable to finish the work on time. We are still in the middle of the process so very frustrated as we dont know how long we have to wait. Here is our experience: We met the Architect from Rand to review our floor plan. We were told the report will be issued sometime the following week. However, we waited a whole week but didnt heard anything. So we followed up the following week and was told the report will be ready by Thursday. Not surprisingly, still no on Thursday. We followed again, we were told the report will be ready the following Tuesday. And on the following Tuesday, we finally received the report almost 5PM. As a professional firm, how could you miss the deadline couple of times? Also, we only need them to review the plan, not draw. TBH, my own Architect (not from Rand, luckily) only took one week to finish the whole plan. But the Architect from Rand spent 3 weeks to review it! Unbelievable!
Continue: So we finally got the report three weeks later. Our own Architect made the updates per Rand's comments in one day and sent back to her for her another review. We have been waiting for another two weeks and we still do not know how long we have to wait.
So basically, they have been taking 1.5 months for only reviewing an apartment floor plan. And it is not finished yet, probably will take even longer. I have not received the bill so not sure how much they will charge me. I will update it once i get the invoices. But most importantly, their significant delay caused a lot of inconvenience for our renovation schedule.
The whole process is so frustrated. Please do everything to avoid this firm if you dont want to waste money and time.
Excellent engineering and architectural firm. Very professional in every aspect of the project. They have an amazing facade team, and even greater rope access techs to inspect buildings. Highly recommend!
