I turned to Publiadige for a brief condolence. We know that the newspaper "The Arena" does not stand for the quality of the content but for the revenue derived from the obituaries. However, I did not think that we could go so far in taking advantage of a sad moment like the loss of a loved one. In any case, the figures are self-explanatory: 5.40 per word! Words are considered: articles, conjunctions and adverbs (and + yes + a + and + for + the + of = 37!). They force you to end the announcement with the date and place of the writer and also the numbers are considered words (Verona, 30 August 2018 = 21.60!). To get an idea: "Tizio, Caius and Sempronius are joining Pinco and Pallo for the loss of their dear Pippo Pluto. Place, day month year "= 118. Tormentors.

The value for money of an advertising space is bad. A delay of 2 weeks on the payment of 122 euros produced a credit recovery of the cost of 43.24. Without words.

Spending more than 500 euros for a 2-day obituary seems to me an absurdity that exploits the pain of families. I've already paid the bill, but you will certainly never see me again. Well done.
