We went into project harmony after my child was injured at daycare thinking they were helping us thet basically told us that there may possibly be nothing they could do if they couldn't find any evidence of the accusations we requested that they do more tests and take pictures and talk to the kids some more so they do that then a different (uninformed detective) started to question us and the kids. This is the detective that decided to remove the kids they ignored our evidence and the fact that the daycare admitted to injuring my child and tried to turn it back on us as if we planned this elaborate scheme to cover our tracks after we asked them for help.

Where do I start? Yes the staff is faced with a difficult task. The staff is in need of the appropriate sex to interview minor children. Not advise the parent afterwards "the resources aren't always avaliable in these tough times."

I'm sure they do great things for alot of people. But when services are free, you Get What you get. Invest in your child and take them to see a "Forensic Behavioral Specialist." You may or may not get the answers you are looking for but I can assure you, you won't leave there feeling as if you wasted your time as I did when leaving Project Harmony.

Unfortunately I don't have the ability to leave negative 's. 5 negative starts for those who weren't sure.

My son has ran away and wanted to live with his Grandma - so they decided to got to CPS which also located at PH - I went in and did the assessment and she said it sounds like you have a kid who just wants to do what he wants- she released him back to my care and suggested I speak with Project Harmony so Collen the director and Breanna the worker came in and I told them what was going on they said they could help me, they said I'd be the first person who was not court ordered to get help with my son, with the KVC program. I was so relieved heck I would have called them a long time ago. She asked if I had anyone to place him with, because she was afraid he would run away again, I had one prospect but she did not want the responsiblity, at the end of day I didn't care if my son wanted to come home I was tired. CPS cleared me but Collen told me "go home and rest" and I thought that she would have placed him with a group home or some place safe- she gave him to one of his buddies mom's - had she done her research she would have known I had been there with the police 3 days prior to. Long story short is my son got busted with the lady she left him with for MIP and theft. As soon as that happened she decided she was going to go above CPS head and file child abuse charges on me, so just be very careful when you speak with them because while you think they are there to support you and your child they are not. Do not be decieved because of her actions, even though my charges are now a no fault - I have no say over my son and the stress she has put on me, is terrible. She definitely dropped the ball. I wish someone was above her to look into how this all took place but I don't know if there is anyone. Just be very careful, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

These people are charged with a difficult task, I understand that. Still it seems some put personal relationship ahead of child welfare. Brandy Luther and Brenda Chase may be decent people I don't know. What I do know is that a situation was put before them and instead of doing the "job" they chose to try and shield an associate. If you work for cps that is your primary function, protection of the children. Ultimately it shouldn't matter whom you are investigating perfect stranger are the person in the booth besides you, your suppose to do what's good for the children.

I went there for a work meeting. The front desk staff was helpful and directed me to the right location. The building was clean and colorful! I really enjoyed the free, open coffee bar with cream, sugar....and a cookie to boot! The walls have a lot of informational and artsy writing on them...very aesthetically pleasing location. Clean bathrooms too... ALWAYS A PLUS!
