I signed up for an initial 30-minute consultation. I explained my situation and tried to gauge what score I should target, which was the question presented. The person seemed to not respond to me at some moments (almost like they were out of it) but then go back into conversing style at other moments. I kind of had to repeat myself because they were just staring at me. Like, are you going to respond to me? Then; after having a conversation, the person appeared to go cold into a script before reading a practice question. I could tell the person was reading off a script the whole time. We went from a not so good conversation to the person going cold into a script (not including the question). It's somewhat difficult to explain. But it was very odd. Then, the person put up the pricing, and told me, then I shared some thoughts, and they went back to that staring thing again where they just didn't say anything. Like, hello? are you going to talk back to me. It was so odd. Then the person asked for my payment information so we can get started. I said I'd like to think it over essentially. The person said essentially, well did you have any questions I can answer? I said I don't but want to think it over.

I'm wondering if the engagement to non-engagement I mentioned above is a psychological tactic they used that makes a human want the attention and kindness of the person they are wanting more, so that they can land the sale at the end. That is just me being cynical. it could just be a weird communication style by them.

I felt very dirty after that call, like I was part of some weird sales gimmick. I looked this company up further and found others unfortunately did proceed with payment and had significant issues with them.

Warning! This company is a fraud. I signed up for one tutoring session and only authorized this company to take 319.00 from me once. They locked my debit card on file and hit my account for a second charge after I had already told them I would not be continuing their services. I did not sign a contract and did not authorize the company to take my money twice. I spoke with Justin and Merdith who are the billing representatives. Both stated they would return my money, and it has been a month, and they never returned my 319. I am reporting them to the BBB and I placed a consumer complaint with the Department of Justice. Please avoid this company. It is sad that companies can be established to fraudulently take money from consumers especially those trying to pursue a higher education in law.

My daughter scheduled time with one of the tutors and canceled a week before services were rendered and canceled directly with the company. They charged her the full amount and continue to charge her for services not rendered. When she contacted the tutor directly, he never responded. She also contacted the company directly and they keep giving her the run around about getting her money back. As a teacher of 20 years and business owner, this is fraudulent behavior and the company should be held accountable for stealing money.
