It boasts a unique record: with its 82 meters above sea level it is the lowest in Italy.
To be honest, it is no longer a real refuge. In fact, beds and bunks are missing.
But he exhibits a very noble history and the restaurant does typical Trieste cuisine, both for lunch and dinner.

Great laid back atmosphere, great simple Italian food, we started with aperitifs which were great and cheap (2-3 euros) and then ordered gnocchi one with boar meat and the other with Ragu, both were excellent. The gnocchi themselves are very large and puffy, again very fairly priced at 7-8 euros each. There also was good live music. A great place to pass an evening

No menue. The very nice waitress tells you everything. The food is good and affordable. Location is near the gorgeous valley. We came after an exhausting hike and were served with great pleasure.

A horrible experience. The absolutely mediocre firsts. The too salty iota, messy pasta with game full of bones and overcooked pasta. For the second wait of an hour and a half and they served us three pieces of roe, one of which was a vertebra without meat. The contours carried those different from those required without warning. Price disproportionate for quality and service. I strongly advise against it.

Fabulous location, at the beginning of Val Rosandra. Adequate service for a sunny day packed with patrons. Quality of food in line with expectations, simple but well-made cuisine, with "homemade" flavors. To come back !!!

Lots of nature ... relaxation ... looking for coolness, I went there with my friends on a bicycle, but also many other times!

We arrived at the Premuda Refuge, thanks to a friend from Trieste, to spend the mid-August in the middle of nature! Welcome and friendliness of the waiter, combined with the excellent authenticity of home food and wine, at a fair price! We look forward to returning to these beautiful places, which we highly recommend trying out the various truly superb menus!

This "refuge" needs no reviews. Yes, it is in all respects a refuge of the CAI. Suitable for summer lunches and dinners. Very simple and beautiful place !!

Refuge to relax and eat something after a walk ... friendly staff

Former "mountain" shelter for rock climbers and hikers, it has become a "simple" restaurant losing its "role" and its tradition. Now it serves good homemade dishes and the prices are high for the service that is given. Tablecloth and paper towels and diners one attached to the other. Once upon a time it was like that, but it was a refuge with modest prices and another type of clientele.

Very nice to have lunch in the garden with a nice breeze! We stayed very well! The food is good and the service is great!

Eaten well, nice location with large open space, excellent prices and excellent Teran sorbet.

I attend since 1986 this shelter and courtesy, kindness, reliability is always excellent, the food offers a variety of dishes and is always very good.

Nice place ... expensive dishes, horrible coffee, thank goodness at least the staff is nice. I wonder why, despite the sign indicating the 10.00 am as opening time, we have to wait more than an hour before someone opens the door .... unfortunately it didn't happen just once. Sometimes kindness is not enough, even a little more respect for "paying" customers would be needed.

Arrived at about 13, we were able to order about 2.30pm, the dishes arrived at 3.35pm, in the meantime, to have a drink, I stood in line at the counter twice, about 30 minutes, they said there would be was to wait and the girl was also kind and nice, but I would have preferred if she said there is no room. It is not the first time that happens, to err is human to persevere ...
