Cute place! I ve been looking for a place like this! I do wish there were more flavors or options for coffee. Definitely a bit on the pricey side. I also wish the barista was a little friendlier with the kids. She went to sanitize the toys half way through our visit (which was awesome!!!) but didn t address the kids and it felt weird. Other than that it s adorable.

A cute little cafe for parents to take their young children so they can play and socialize while the adults catch up over a cappuccino or coffee. It's a little on the small side but stay times are short so it's not a big deal. We went when they had a waffle bar which was pretty good but overpriced. All in all a worthwhile trip. The young one enjoyed all the toys and meeting and playing with all the other little kids.

Really nice place! Such a great idea. I am a nanny and I love to bring my Kids here. They enjoy playing and getting to spend time with other children while I can have a delicious drink! Staff is friendly. I like their snack options. The lattes are good too. My only complaints would be the prices (macarons & lattes $$$) and I wish the drinks we're a little hotter. But overall, worth it! And I love the new colorful decorations and paint!

Play Grounds is a great resource for parents and children to gather in a warm, friendly, and safe environment designed specifically for their needs and wants. The staff is kind and welcoming, the space clean and inviting, and the menu beautifully well-curated. They offer Phoenix coffee and a variety of fresh, local pastries. If you're a mom or dad of a little one looking for a place to have some relaxing fun as a family (while caffeinating yourself!), check out Play Grounds!

WC just brought our newborn twins here and we really enjoyed ourselves. This is definitely a place we will come back to and we love it because the kids will be able to play and have fun. The mocha I had and the hot chocolate my wife got were delicious. We also got a "duffin", I think is what they called it, and it was amazing. (Doughnut/muffin)

I am fan of Play Grounds because it is NOT just mom's in this coffee shop. Other guy's bring in their kids to play with other children. And also, you can get a moment to breathe while enjoying some tasty treats and warm beverages. The atmosphere is... that we are all parents, and we all have the same interests. It is truly an indoor playground. And that makes sense for Lakewood not only for the snowy winter months, but the many rainy days we have all year round.

This place is an adorable place to take your kids. However, I have found that other children were absolutely out of control while parents sat on their phones or talked with their friends. On multiple occasions children were throwing ( and I mean THROWING toys) down the doll house stairs, across the playroom, and in the kitchen area, children were running around pretty small toddlers, climbing on the train table. This one kid had another kid in a headlock on the floor and wouldn t stop grabbing this small toddler by the shirt. Needless to say, I didn t feel my kids were safe and left early every single time we ve gone.

Such a wonderful place to take my children! They can eat treats and play while I enjoy a delicious latte and catch up with friends! Love having a place to take them where I don t have to worry about them throwing a tantrum or making noise, as they often do so! Thank you for the much needed and very much loved addition to our town!

I m a new mom and I m constantly looking for places I can go to with my baby. I love Play Grounds for several reasons. I m an avid coffee drinker so having a family cafe right in my neighborhood is incredible! They brew Phoenix Coffee which is delicious and you can t go wrong with the honey latte. They have tons of yummy snacks too! The duffins are what dreams are made of! Also it s hard to plan everything around my baby s feeding schedule so being that Play Grounds is a family environment I feel completely comfortable nursing there. They even have a changing table in the bathroom with spare diapers in case you forget yours. The owners have seriously thought of everything! I highly recommend Play Grounds to anyone!

Wonderful place to take my kids and enjoy a cup of coffee. The Fort is amazing, with lots of toys and books for the kiddos to play with. The whole place is super kid friendly. Lakewood needed a coffee shop like Play Grounds! So happy they are apart of the neighborhood.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Wonderful service, coffee, and atmosphere. They just extended their hours and I hope they continue to grow and flourish. I work from home and can easily bring my computer here, can a great cup of coffee, and my two young kids can play in the Fort. This place cheers me up during a mundane work week. Love Play Grounds!
