Ten years and counting..beautiful, well built, well planned home. Still looks like new!

Was just rushed right out of the office..very uninterested in any questions I had...won't even consider Timberland ever for any home in the future.

I been to the one near Arlington and the one in Auburn several times.
for sure nice homes but i don't think its worth what they ask for.
I rather just buy an existing home, and both locations didn't have very good customer service

Save yourself the trip! They won't be open when you get there! Closes at 4:00 pm? Really? And closed on Sunday too? Oh and good luck on if they will be open or not on a Saturday! Apparently you need to take a day off work just to view the models! Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else!! These people are NOT customer friendly at all!!

9+ good reviews and owner addressed 4. Hmmm......i'm going to guess they really do not care. Been interested in these when they were up around Mount Vernon, but had a funky vibe back then as well.

Don Shelton is a true professional in every sense. It is evident that his main goal is to make sure the customer is happy. He takes the time to listen and find out what is important to the buyer. My wife and I could not be happier with the overall experience of dealing with Don and Timberland homes.

Great staff, went over details with their process, cost, and benefits. Looking at buying a hone for my parents through them.

Very pricey compared to other modular home companies. They had a lot to look at on the lot but nobody was really interested in showing us. Customer service could be better.

Beautiful homes but very expensive and alarmingly bad customer service. Visited the Auburn location and associate told us toward the end of our visit that there are no other custom home companies that if we found any they would be more expensive. She was extremely pushy to schedule a site check which is 900 dollars (you have to pay to even schedule for them to come out). 900 dollars to see your property and tell you if they can put a home on your lot plus other conditions such as possibly needing a crane to put our home on the lot which we were told would cost 7k plus.

I am very thankful that we looked elsewhere and let me tell you there are other customs home options that do not charge to check your site, numerous times! And actually are significantly cheaper with quality materials. My husband and I feel like we almost fell into a trap. Look around!

Not impressed. Expected better customer service. Noticed several interior foundation flaws in the model homes. Staff said they were "too busy" to show us around so we'll take our money elsewhere.

Treat you like a king when purchasing a home but when a problem arises they will find every excuse in the book to not fill their warranty obligations. They use cheap materials on floor underlayment and roof decking material. You will not know this until you have a problem. Customer service is bad and they like to turn it around and make it look like it is your fault. I would highly recommend checking out other companies.

If I could do less then 1 I would. The lady we spoke to was smug and had little interest in helping my husband and I, and more interested in talking about herself and putting us down.
If your a military family, or veteran I don't reccomend going here.

The sales person was not very knowledgeable. I had basic build questions she could not answer. She was good at reading me specs off their brochure. We did not choose them for our build.

Walked into the Auburn model center, knowing the exact model I wanted to learn about, the Aspen. I saw the Aspen in Skagit County many years ago. Thinking Timberland would have the details of this model (used for a Seattle Home Show) and that I would be able to receive the specs, upgrades and pricing, I was disappointed. Furthermore, the salesperson was not customer focused, very interruptive, and sent us (unescorted while she heated up her lunch) on a tour of their current models....total waste of my time. I want the Aspen; that's the model I want to discuss! First flag was when the salesperson opened the dialog with, "If I don't pass you off...". Well, she did pass us off. We left with no ball park price. She demonstrated unwillingness to discuss upgrades, and in short just didn't seem willing to work with us. We were serious buyers. What a bummer. The Aspen home, as shown on their website site, is a stunning home. If Timberland comes through with the info....feel free to contact me....and NOT by that saleswoman. She should be fired.

Angela one of tbe sales reps was rude and condensing. When asked about the prosses of how and what the difference between stick build and Timberland she said to go on line. Then while talking to me she was to busy looking at people out the window as if i was wasiting her time or I was a bothering her. To the point that another family walked out and saw how rude she was they left too.

I bought a 2006 Timberland used in 2012. It was very well constructed, with plywood floor (not OSB), real wood stringers (floor supports), not the newer cheapie OSB I-beam stringers. Good quality windows; good cabinets; good roof; hardi-plank siding; and, unlike manufactured, it actually had an attic you could enter for service. Overall, it was well built. Unfortunately, when they delivered the home, the contractor who did the poured-in-place foundation left one corner low, so that corner of the house was not level. To make up to the damage to the corner drywall from the slight drop, they pumped in a lot of chalking floor to ceiling. It was not a conventional drywall repair and was not appropriate; but I lived with it because the paint covered it decently well. I would buy another Timberland home, but when I called them to do just that for a lot I had, I found their prices to be as high as an on-site builder, so in that case why bother with modular, which is rated as stick built by building departments but which I find carry a certain at least slight stigma, no matter how well they are built. This is written in 2018, and housing prices have gone up and away from my budget, so I started looking at manufactured. I have been very disappointed in what I have seen. Mostly they use cheap materials, are not well assembled, and go down hill much faster than stick built. No matter what you read, take my word for it that OSB is a second rate material, no matter what the grade, although everyone uses it even on high-end (expensive) stick-builts. On roofs, it does not hold roofing nails as well as plywood. It is prone to come apart if it gets wet, no matter where it is placed, on walls, floors, or roofs. OSB is not particle board, but it is still just a mountain of little scraps of wood pressed and glued together. Too bad home builders have so little pride when it comes to this product. It is only suited for sheds.

Had a excellent experience with Julie Waggoner about a particular home. She was pleasant and informative , and quickly sent out follow up information.
