Relic from the past that should have closed a long time ago, overpriced and underwhelming

Always a great experience producing shows here for NYFW, arguably one of the best venues for it. Love the huge windows with views of downtown skyline as a sideview backdrop for runway

The photo studios are very spacious and bright! A lot of activity here

ONCE A YEAR I VISIT PAMILLA FASHION SHOW AND ALWAYS A SURPRISE TO SEE CHANGES I'VE NEVER LEFT NOT SATISFIED WITH THE PERFORMANCE SHE'S A LOVELY LADY WITH A BEAUTIFUL FAMILY BEHIND HER 100%

I went to eat, itvwas great and Fashion Week was great too.

Came here for the AW19 Peacebird Men's show during NYFW.... The space is very well laid out and perfectly set up for fashion events and runway shows. Also great for private parties, and events.

I was in this place for New York fashion week. Nice & huge space for big event.

The I work for ujyyuujuyjuu hi hzationorganization a trauma conference with guest a speaker.. she was wonderful... The lunch though ran through me... And for dessert they served a hagaandaz with rasberry... And gold dust....ok

Good food, front desk people could be a slightly more personable.

A river cruise is a must to do activity in New York to enjoy the beautiful city, statue of liberty.

This pier belonged to the White Star Line and here the Olympic docked. He should also have docked the Titanic (Olympic twin sister) had he not sunk on his maiden voyage. Unfortunately there is no sign of this.

Here the Carpathia landed the Titanic lifeboats before taking the survivors to dock 54.

My first time working here. LOVED IT! Awesome helpful staff. Restaurant for people working on site is AMAZING! Hope to get hired to do more shoots in this space. What a great time!

Was there for New York Fashion Week in studio A. It's on 2nd floor. The fashion show itself is awesome.

Nice studio/meeting space, coffee bar in the main floor.

Had an event there during New York Fashion Week. The team was extremely professional and the event was amazing!

Not as fancy as MILK but a great terrace to hang out on.

Zang Toi's fashion show was amazing the venue is pretty good.

The Titanic would have docked here. The survivors were dropped off by Carpathia, which docked at pier 54.

Had a great time at their Friday night 40 dollar open bar and cheese plates. The instructor comes around to assist and it feels very classy. I wish the bar had more variety and it was open longer. Great time.

great studio where to work. Very well organized and with a lot of SPACE!!!

After the photoshoot that I was here for, I did feel like a star. Maybe if I was a celebrity, I'd feel normal but oh well since I'm not always in such environments, I felt 5 star from the reception of the staff at the front desk to the equipment in the studio.

I even ran into Nicole Kidman in the hallway (she is tall, how on earth was she married to Tom Cruise)... I digress, anyway make sure if you come thirsty to drink the free water on offer cause the drinks at the bar are not cheap or kind to your pocket. I believe that may have been what brought me down to earth from my feeling like a celebrity.

If you can afford a photoshoot there, I say go for it. Just make sure your photographer is up to date!

My daughter was modeling during NYFW. Great atmosphere. Food was pricey but very good and my wife and I got a chance to kick back and relax as my daughter enjoyed her time on the runway. Was truly a great experience for us.

I will never go to this part of New York Due to the Offensive Behavior that has been displayed at Pier59 studios. Making models wear big lips and big ears is weird, childish and out of touch with human nature. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

This unassuming "warehouse" is a very creative space. So many areas for art, photography, fashion shows and receptions.

Great staff! In EQ & Front Desk,& the cafe.. .. ..and everywhere! but the Studios are 100% not Covid Safe. Studios 8, 9 & 10 have bathrooms that are not Safe during Covid times. In fact those bathrooms, shared with another part of the Chelsea Piers complex, are gross and haven't been updated in 10? years... no fan everything must be touched ...to get to the bathroom, to get towels& to get back to the studios...

The bathrooms in the main studio are fancier but overcrowded w toilets that weren't flushing and both stalls and urinals occupied and a very nice makeup artist cleaning his brushes and accessories in the sink. So 6 people in the bathroom! But just outside the door was a private Covid Safety Co!? giving out cool masks (red&green!), gloves(green&purple) and sanitizer....

Ive been working here off & on for years. They need to fix these problems to meet the new situ. I would not recommend bringing a fancy client to this studio.
Otherwise it a good studio...

Lovely space. Very efficient staff. Things work like clockwork. Lots of different studio spaces

I've had two very different experiences here. My first time in this stunning space was when my friend was the event coordinator and I was working for her during fashion week. I got to see the entire space and it's incredible. The studios are gorgeous! And the staff is so on top of everything, and experts. Their equipment room is what dreams are made of for any photography nerd.
Years later- I had a few acting classes in some of the studios- the space has such an amazing energy and feeling- each class seemed rejuvenated and charged. That kind of inherit postive energy goes such a long way in studios like that- especially long days with a lot of hard work. You will not regret booking a studio here for your shoots.
